About this trip

Take a life pause and join with other women in recovery for the Second Annual Soul Discovery Mountain Retreat in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.  This springtime retreat in Motreat, North Carolina offers women in recovery the opportunity to leave the stress of life behind and turn their focus back to themselves.

Revel in the charming accommodations at the Linger Longer Lodge; an 8 bedroom, 9 bath home nestled in the serene mountains.  Use your time here to connect with your truest self,  with others who share a similar path, and with nature and awaken your soul and recharge your spirit. Relax on one of the three beautiful decks overlooking the lush forest of the Montreat area. Participate in daily yoga on the main deck as the gentle breezes awaken your body and the sun quenches your soul.   Enjoy an in-house massage, hike, walk, forest bathe, rock hop in the nearby creeks, or just relax anywhere you like.   We will gather each evening for a voluntary sharing circle for those you wish to participate.

You decide what your retreat experience will be.  There are no mandatory offerings.  You choose what feels right for you.

Optional day trips include a day of deep introspection as we visit The Light Center,  a non-profit that was built and is operated as a space where people from all over the world can come and connect with nature and pray for the planet and all who inhabit it.   Visit urlight.org to learn more. We will also offer a day trip to Chimney Rock, NC where we can hike the 543 stairs or take the elevator to the summit which is 2280 feet high.  The views of nearby Lake Lure are absolutely breathtaking.  Visit www.chimneyrockpark.com to learn more.

Don't you deserve some time just for yourself?
