Educational farm visit to the Mount Pleasant Farm including butter making workshop, learning about chickens and collecting their eggs, visiting the sheep and cows and learning more about a working farm life.
The group will be led by Max Widrig - a qualified mountain leader and first aider, with many years of experience in leading treks, hiking in mountainous environments and performing outdoor and bushcraft activities for young and old. All places visited during the adventure undergo a dynamically risk assessment.
Founder of Mellow Journeys, Max is a qualified Mountain Leader and experienced in teaching primary and secondary school children. Max is passionate about the natural world, the great outdoors, travelling and learning about other people & cultures.

Transport to and from the destination is included. Please drop off & collect your child at the meeting point as stated in the itinerary
The participants will be accompanied (and guided) by the lead instructor from start to finish
Participants are responsile for bringing their own pack-lunch and drinks.
1. Departure is at 9.00 am from 33 Cubley Road, B28 8EH

3. We aim to be back in Birmingham for 1.30pm. This time is subject to changes depending on traffic and any other unexpected occurrences. Parents will be notified of any delay of more than 15min via sms.
4. Please collect your child from 33 Cubley Road, B28 8EH at the time of return.
