Spend a day exploring Miami's rich Black heritage and culture with local expert tour guides while experiencing food tastings of diverse cultures.
We will visit heritage neighborhoods including West Coconut Grove, Little Havana and Historic Overtown, formerly known as Colored town, where you will become immersed in rich Black history.
You will visit local Black-owned and Cuban-owned businesses, explore historic sites, cultural museums and art galleries. You will enjoy tastings of Cuban food and beverage staples. Lunch includes some of the best southern cuisine found in Miami.
After lunch, we head to Virginia Key Beach Park, once known as "Miami's Colored Only Beach" where you will discover its rich history. You'll enjoy the beautiful natural landscape, swaying palm trees and the largest mangrove wetlands in Florida. You can work off that hearty lunch on a nature trail walk, or you can simply relax on the beach!
