Join local guide Beto as he takes you to three very interesting and diverse neighborhoods in Lima. After breakfast at the hotel, the tour will start with two hours of laidback biking through the city along El Malecón, Lima's lively cliffside park with whimsical art, seaside views, and popular attractions like the Larcomar Mall. You will then reach Barranco for a completely different perspective of the city. The neighborhood is Lima's bohemian district and is full of artists, trendy restaurants, and Victorian style architecture. After this portion of the bike ride, you will begin your hike. The uphill hike will take you through the traditional Chorrillos neighborhood. Reaching the top of El Morro Solar Hill, you will then get to relax as you admire the incredible views of the city. With this perfect tour to see three diverse neighborhoods of Lima and get active, you'll feel as though you just spent the day exploring with a local friend, rather than being overloaded with information. Your experience with Beto takes up only half of the day, leaving you with the other half of the day free to explore and use the recommendations we will provide you to experience Lima to the fullest.

Just outside of Lima are the incredible Pachacamac ruins, an impressive pre-Inca archaeological complex. The ruins are one of the top sights near Lima, famed for their incredible series of 20-pyramids and mysterious labyrinth-like structure. This full-day tour will give you the chance to not only visit this famous landmark, but also see an off-the-beaten-path, non-touristy side of the city. After visiting the ruins, you will go to an authentic artisan market, where few tourists go, to see everything from hand-woven textiles made from llama wool to unique pottery using traditional Andean patterns and designs. You will then enjoy a homemade lunch at a local family’s house.

At the coordinated time, our representatives will meet Steven at the Lima airport and transfer him to the hotel in Miraflores.

After breakfast at the hotel, our day will start at the vibrant and busy Surquillo market. Local Guide and professional chef Carlos will lead you through the market, teaching you about the unique and fresh produce found in the area. Then, you will return to the beautiful Hotel Runcu to put those fresh ingredients to good use. Carlos will start the class by leading a pisco tasting, where you will learn the heritage behind this drink, and how different grapes influence the flavors of each type of pisco. With your newfound pisco knowledge, you’ll next get to make Peru’s beloved cocktail, the Pisco Sour. Pisco Sour in hand, you will then prepare the three staple dishes of Peruvian gastronomy: ceviche, causa, and lomo saltado. Carlos will be there, leading the way through everything from cooking techniques to secret professional tips to interesting facts about the dishes you are preparing. After preparing this incredible three course meal, you will then get to feast on the fruits of your labor. Your experience with Carlos will go until about 2:00pm, leaving you with the rest of the day free to again explore and use the recommendations we will provide you to experience Lima to the fullest.

Today, you'll have a short drive to the airport to take the 1-hour flight to the city of Cusco (not included), we are including one transfer for all of you and Steven will need to wait a little longer to catch his flight to Cusco in Lima’s airport. Upon arriving at Cusco airport, Michael will be met by our local staff who will welcome him and wait together for Steven to arrive in Cusco. Once the group is complete, we’ll start our drive in our private transport towards Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley. From Ollantaytambo Station, you'll board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes. The train journey is a spectacle in itself as you'll be able to appreciate the changing landscape from green fields and eucalyptus forests to lush jungle always, traveling

beside the meandering Urubamba River. We will be able to enjoy a delicious box-lunch on board. Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes, you will head to

your hotel accompanied by your guide.

toToday is the big day! Early in the morning, you’ll take a 20-minute bus up the steep zigzagging road to Machu Picchu Citadel, located on an impressiv

mountain setting. You’ll first have a 3-hour guided excursion so you can have a better understanding of Machu Picchu and the Incas culture. Your guide will be happy to answer all the questions you may have. Afterwards, your guide will give you some instructions to start your 1:30-hours hike, Michael will hike up to

Huayna Picchu Mountain and Steven will hike to “Montaña Machu Picchu” which is right in front of Huayna Pichu. You’ll climb step by step until you get to the top of the mountain at 2.667 m.a.s.l. From there you’ll see be able to observe Machu Picchu from different angles and you’ll get the breath-taking views. After some time to rest and enjoy the impressive scenery you’ll start to go back to Machu Picchu and Aguas Calientes where you can have lunch in a good restaurant (not included) before boarding your return train back to OLLANTAYTAMBO, from where a private transport will be waiting to take you to your hotel. From there, you’ll have a private transportation taking you to the Huilloc community (a 40-min drive). You will then be welcomed by the Huilloc Community.

Kusi Runa is a truly unique adventure in which you can share the experience of the daily activities of the community of Huilloc by joining their agricultural work in the fields. This morning, you will be a member of the community who will share with you their lifestyle and knowledge. You will be able to wear the traditional  clothes of the “comunero”, a typical Huilloc poncho, and also use traditional tools during your work. You will participate in a beautiful ceremony in the community before having a traditional lunch with the local products of Huilloc.

In the afternoon unfortunately it will be time to say goodbye to the Huilloc community and start the trip back to Cusco. On the road, you’ll stop at the colourful village of Chinchero, where you’ll be able to visit a traditional textile workshop for a very entertaining presentation.

This morning, you’ll  leave your hotel and drive to Cruzpata, starting point of the mountain bike adventure. This tour is perfect for people wanting to enjoy the Sacred Valley of the Incas in a more active way. During the mountain trail, you will delight yourselves with the view of Andean peaks and inhabitants of the region working on their daily activities. You’ll visit the Inca experimental agricultural terraces of Moray and afterwards proceed on a downhill dirt road to Maras where you can stop to visit the salt mines. This adventure ends at the bottom of the valley in the small town of Pichingoto from where your transport will take you back to Cusco.

Today, after some time to relax and wander in the city, you’ll head to the airport to board your flight back to Lima. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to your hotel in Miraflores. Then, later in Cusco, we’ll pick Steven up and transfer him to Cusco’s airport to board his flight back to Lima. Upon arrival to Lima, Steven will

stay at the airport to take his international flight back home at midnight.
