From Quito we will drive to San Antonio where "Ciudad Mitad del Mundo" is located.It is a unique place where we can stand on the equatorial line that divides the northern and southern hemispheres, explore the monument and the surrounding museum, which offers fascinating exhibits on the geography and culture of Ecuador. We begin this experience visiting the view point of Pululahua Crater, this place is unique because people live inside of the crater of this potentially active volcano and also because of the view of the volcano itself.

Rumicucho is a fascinating pre-Inca archaeological site located just north from the equator. Built by the Quitu-Cara civilization, this ancient stone fortress served as a strategic military and ceremonial center. Perched on a hill, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. You can explore the remains of terraced platforms, stone walls, and ceremonial structures while learning about the rich history of our ancestors. 

The Middle of the World Monument is one of the most recognized destinations to visit near Quito where you can make a picture standing in both sides of the planet. Here you will learn not only about the equator but also about our culture because the complex is a big museum with expositions about the traditional architecture, our geography, or about coffee, so this place is not just about the pics is also a good sample of Ecuadorian Culture.
