For the better part of a decade, Two Lane America has been on the road in some capacity with Route 66 always being a cornerstone of our travels. Austin Coop, founder and lead tour guide, has personally traversed the 2,400+ miles of Route 66 dozens and dozens of times. His love for the Mother Road led to lifelong friendships and partnerships with the small businesses and funky roadside attractions along the way.

If you are considering going on a trip with 2 Lane America but haven't signed up for whatever reason you need to do it!! Cindy and I did Route 66 in June 2023. Starting in Chicago and ending at Santa Monica Pier. We just did the 2025 Midwest Motorhead Tour. Each trip was different. Route 66 Stops were nostalgic and filled with Americana. The Midwest tour was an homage to cars - all different makes and models. We toured the Indianapolis Museum/track, Cammack Station, James Dean Museum, Auburn Museum, Studebaker Museum, Ford Museum and Air Zoo Museum. Each stop was wonderful and brought back memories of days gone by. Ford Museum had wonderful exhibits and a village of buildings that Ford bought to his museum from around the country. The Air Zoo Museum highlighted airplanes and space. Fascinating. The people you will meet on your trip are fabulous and Austin makes the trip enjoyable. Every detail is taken care of so you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest extent.

Had a fantastic time. Austin was so knowledgeable and accommodating. Mid trip I became ill and Austin took care of every need that I had. I will definitely go on more of his trips in the future.

The Midwest Motorhead tour with Two Lane America was a great experience from start to finish. The itinerary was incredibly well thought out: access to classic car museums, vintage garages, to rolling into small towns including the childhood home of James Dean. Austin is always a friendly and knowledgeable guide. If you love the open road, classic cars, small towns, and stories that stretch like the highways themselves, Two Lane America’s Midwest tour is a must.

Austin leads trips that are not only fun, but interesting as well...And this one was no exception. Our tour of Sun Recording was nostalgic and wonderful, and our visit to the battlefield at Port Hudson was a view into a slice of history that I had never known about. And so much more...Austin is always respectful of his guests and aims to make our experiences the greatest...Well done!
