Home-Milwaukee
Come along as we visit some of the most beautiful churches, grottos and shrines in Wisconsin. After picking up our Twin City passengers we sit back and relax in our deluxe motorcoach enjoying the beautiful countryside of our neighboring state. Along with our Spiritual Director Fr. Dan Walz we soon arrive in Eau Claire where mass is included at the Sacred Heart Church. The church was organized in 1875 and completed in 1928, is on the National Register of Historic Places and represents the doors of mercy. Lunch is included and prepared by the church ladies. Departing Eau Claire we relax and enjoy our prayerful journey to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Upon arrival we check into our hotel the Sleep Inn for a delightful two night stay. This full service property includes a hot breakfast, indoor pool, hot tub, wi-fi, and a fitness center. Sleep Well

Following breakfast we meet our step-on-guide for a one-hour tour and learn the history of Milwaukee and its attractions. Next, we visit HOLY HILL NATIONAL SHRINE OF MARY, dedicated to the BLESSED VIRGIN MARY. The shrine sits on 435 acres, has two towering spires stretching 192 feet and 178 steps that visitors can climb to see the City of Milwaukee’s skyline. Following lunch at the shrine a short drive brings us to the BASILICA OF ST. JOSAPHAT. Built in 1901 by Polish immigrants also designed St. Peter’s in Rome. The basilica features one of the largest domes in the world. The interior is noted for its hand-carved marble pulpit, ornate stained glass, murals and gilded plasterwork. Following a tour a special mass for our group will be celebrated by our Spiritual Director, Fr. Dan Walz. Next we visit the 15th-century French chapel: ST. JOAN OF ARC CHAPEL located on the campus of Marquette University. We end our day with a visit to the number-one-rated attracted in Milwaukee, MITCHELL PARK HORTICULTURAL CONSERVATORY—“THE DOMES”. Following an included breakfast we depart for the Wisconsin Dells where we enjoy a coffee break and cheese stop. Next we come to Rudolph, here we visit the RUDOLPH GROTTO GARDENS and WONDER CAVE. The grounds contain the Shrine of Peace, Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, St Jude’s Chapel and a .2 mile-long Wonder Cave that contains 26 shrines depicting the life and teaching of Jesus. Mass will be celebrated at St. Philips located on the grounds with Fr. Dan. An included dinner prepared by the ladies of the parish will be provided. Making our way home we take with us a deep appreciation of all we have been blessed with. A journey of spiritual enrichment will forever be remembered in our lives. OMG! The New England bus trip was AMAZING!!!! The constant autumn views were STUNNING! We experienced way more than we had expected to. We loved every minute of the trip. Kim is truly awesome and driver Brent kept us feeling very safe every minute. This was my first bus trip, I can’t wait to take another!!!!! See you again Lavern’s Travel!!!! This was first bus tour. I didnt know what to expect. It was a wonderful trip. Kim covered all the highlights of all the states. I crossed of many bucket list items. I cant wait to take another trip. Kim is very professional and a wonderful tour guide
