This Mindfulness Intensive is broken up into two weekends.  The first weekend is open to all who are interested in creating a daily practice, understanding the principles of mindfulness and living more fully in the present.


Weekend 1: Develop and Refine Your Personal Mindfulness Practice.   

(April 25th 12pm - 6pm and April 26th 12pm - 5pm)

You will learn:

  • Benefits of Mindfulness 
  • Neuroscience that makes Mindfulness effective  
  • Embodiment, Movement and Play 
  • Breath, Anchor, Pause 
  • Heartfulness 
  • Presence in Eating, 
  • Listening, Seeing, Speaking 
  • Stress Reduction Techniques 
  • Inter-connectivity 
  • Gratitude 
  • What to do with Emotions
  • Paying attention to the Monkey Mind
  • Empathy and Caring for the Caregiver
  • Impermanence and Uncertainty 

The second weekend of this training is for those working with youth:  Parents, Teachers, Counselors, Administration, who are looking to take their personal practice and share it within  the community of schools.


Weekend 2:  Mindfulness for Youth

(May 16th 12pm - 6pm and May 17th 12pm - 5pm)


The first weekend is a prerequisite for this weekend module.  


During the second weekend of the training, we will hear from experts in the school system, who are actively creating heartfelt systemic change throughout NJ.  You will have an opportunity to experience practices to lead with youth, as well as time to practice facilitating those exercises.

We combine the ancient tradition of mindfulness with the techniques of modern thought leaders to profoundly transform your life and the lives of the children you serve.

Certificate issued upon completion

40 Hours includes both weekends + virtual hours

    Upon Completion, you will received a Level 1: Mindfulness Teacher Training
  • Weekly Mindfulness Class
    Either attend the Yoga Peace Kula Mindfulness class on Tuesdays at 5 pm for the duration of the training or opt to receive the recording of the class.

    A space to share, trouble shoot and find support for being a leader in the Mindfulness in Education movement.
