About this trip

Mindfulness Teacher Training Program:

Program Facilitators:  Summer Deaver, Alisha Delorenzo, KYDS Founders, Rodney Salomon and Mychal Mills
Level 1: 40 hours

All children deserve the opportunity to learn.  In our modern world, there is so much that prevents children from having equal opportunities to learn.  Mindfulness is the awareness that can enable teachers, administration and students to create new pathways for learning.  Mindfulness is a skill that everyone must work to develop.  As teachers, our example of a regular mindfulness practice is the single most proactive and lasting approach we can implement to bring change in the education system.

This 40 hour course helps you create a mindfulness practice that works for your lifestyle, while teaching you the tools to lead children through a journey to develop a mindfulness practice of their own.   We combine the ancient tradition of mindfulness with the techniques of modern thought leaders to profoundly transform your life and the lives of the children you serve.
