ITINERARY

9:30 am – Departure from Trapani

Meeting point in the Port of Trapani in Via Ammiraglio Staiti, Marinella quay (next to Fire Department). Although the departure is at 9:30 am is appropriate and opportune to go to the ticket office by 9:00 am

10:15 am – Arrival on Favignana island

Our boats are the largest and fastest motor ships among those available in the quay of Trapani. The 40 minutes of coastal navigation are particularly comfortable and enjoyable thanks to both comfort offered by the big motor ship and Captain Massimo – a big expert and native of the Aegadian Islands – always ready to explain every single detail and curiosity about the small islands met during the trip from the port of Trapani towards Favignana.

First Stop: Favignana (2 hours stop off)

All the islands show the best of themselves through the sea, but the beauty of striking small villages is not to underestimate. These small villages rise in 3 minutes walk from the port.

During the 2 hours stop off, considered in our itinerary, we suggest to our guests the following alternatives:

Walking through nature and traditions: Simona and Guido will accompany you through the streets of Favignana, find out how...

Bike tour*: it’s possible to rent a bike nearby the point of the motor ship mooring.

Visit Stabilimento Florio (Florio’s Factory)*: the old Favignana tunas factory, owned by the famous Florio family in the past, is one of the must-see places on the island. The 2 hours stop off allows participating in the wonderful guided tour of the museum.

Egadilandia Tour*: this nice tour of 1 hour starts from the port and it will take you to the discovery of the island land.

Wandering around the village streets: Considering the little distance between the port and the residential area of the island, we suggest to spend the time on the island just going around among the narrow streets and squares of the centre; you might taste some local product and dish or visit the beach in front of the port.

12:30 - Begins the coastal tour

Leaving the port towards north-east, the motor ship runs along the eastern side of the island reaching the famous Cala Rossa, Bue Marino, and Cala Azzurra. The stops, with the possibility to swim in the creeks, depend on the weather conditions and tidal currents. Egadi Escursioni guarantees at least one stop in the creeks above mentioned, during which the staff on board pays attention to bathing to safeguard not expert bathers.

Lunch on board

During the last stop on the Favignana island, Egadi Escursioni offers the lunch to its guests. Only typical products and first choice on our boats!

The menu includes local starter, main course with pasta** and pesto of Trapani and fresh seasonal fruits. The wine will be served during the lunch and the water, as well as the bar service*, will be always available for all the excursion.

14:45 - Route to Levanzo

Relax and enjoy the amazing view while we’re leaving Favignana en route to Levanzo. The arrival is expected after about 20 minutes of navigation.

15:05 – Second stop over Levanzo (1 hour stop off)

From the port of Levanzo, it’s already possible to enjoy the enchanting view of this Mediterranean village, the only inhabited zone on the island. Smaller than Favignana, the village of Levanzo is charming and the stop on the island lasts 1 hour.

The peculiarity of Levanzo lies in the simple white and turquoise beach houses, visible walking along the few quiet narrow streets which guide into the residential area.

16:00 – The tour continues on board

Leaving the small port of Levanzo the navigation goes on towards the famous Faraglione (stack), one of the most spectacular glimpses of the island. In good weather conditions, it’s possible to have a swim also in the creeks. On the contrary, the trip – which could go on to the south-east side of the island – will include an alternative stop at one of the creeks protected from predominant winds.

17:15 – Departure towards Trapani

We say goodbye to Levanzo with a direct route to the Port of Trapani, sure of leaving inside you an excellent memory of us and of your first experience in the Aegadian Islands.

18:00 – Return to Trapani – Excursion end

The Costa del Sole motorboat is spread over three decks, giving you the opportunity to choose whether to enjoy the shade of the interior or to let yourself go to the cool summer breeze of the open spaces on the first and second floors.
