The Israel Trek is led and designed by students with the support of itrek and introduces students to Israel and the range of voices and perspectives within it through a balance of culture, education, and fun.  Participants have the chance to visit Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, and more, and meet with thought leaders, industry experts, activists, and policy-makers from a range of viewpoints.  

This is a unique opportunity to gain unparalleled insights into the region and explore the historical, political, legal, religious, and cultural aspects of Israel with fellow classmates.

 Deadlines for Payment

• Deposit  is due 45 days before the trek departure date
• Final payment of the full participant fee (TBD) is due 30 days before the trek 
• Participants joining within 45 days of travel are required to submit the full payment, including the non-refundable deposit
• Participants will not be able to exchange names or trade places using the same participant fee. All participants must independently pay and register. 

Refund Eligibility

• 30+ Days from Trek Start Date: For participants who cancel participation 30 days or more before the itrek start date, all fees are refundable.
• 15-30 Days from Trek Start Date: For participants who cancel participation 15-30 days before the itrek start date, 50% of the fees are refundable.
• 0-14 Days from the Trek Start  Date: For participants who cancel participation 0-14 days before the itrek start date, 0% is refundable.
• Refunds will be considered to those who paid in full within 30 days of the trek start date only in the event of natural disasters, and/or extreme, sustained security (war, terrorism) or widespread public health (pandemic) concerns, as determined by itrek. 
• Individual cancellations due to illness, work or personal obligations, or any other reason, will not be eligible for any refund within 30 days of the Israel trek. Extreme medical circumstances may be considered case-by-case.

Transaction fees

• itrek covers 1% WeTravel fee on all transactions
• Any additional fees associated with credit card processing are paid by the individual but can be avoided by linking a bank account instead of a debit or credit card.
