About this trip

Prepare for front row seats to your own wildlife documentary. Our special mobula ray migration expeditions not only put you right in the heart of the action but let’s you get involved in important research being done on these amazing creatures. You will be able to partake in mobula research and surveying activities alongside one of the top mobula ray experts in the world – Marta Palacios. This is your chance to help make a difference and protect our oceans while bearing witness to one of the most incredible natural wonders on earth with your own eyes.

Our expeditions will begin in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico at the Dive Ninja Expeditions HQ. After check-in you’ll be transferred in our air conditioned transport van to your accommodation in a place so special we can only call it our ‘secret ninja spot’.  Jay Clue and Team Ninja have spent endless amounts of time scouting and exploring the length of Baja to find the best place to experience these gigantic schools. Last season we began running pilot trips there  to test our findings and were blown away at the action! Now it’s your chance to see it with your own eyes, so get ready for the experience of a lifetime.

Excellent dives at Pelican Rock and Land's End!

Had a stellar time with the dive ninja crew! Ryan was my instructor and only one other student - which was great to ask a bunch of questions and be able to move efficiently. Leo was Ryan’s assistant/shadowing and he crushed it as well! Felt super comfortable with those guys as they showed us the rope. Can’t wait for my next dives.

Girlfriend and I booked to get certified while vacationing in Cabo and staying at Casa Dorada. We completed the PADI online prior to arriving. Our instructor, Fabien, was absolutely the best. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and thorough. The pool time was a great intro and practice while the ocean time was an amazing experience while being tested. We both felt very safe and comfortable the entire time,. My girlfriend was very nervous during the 4th dive at Land End and Fabien and the boat Capt were excellent at encouraging and reassuring her, and she did fantastic. I couldn’t recommend Dive Ninja and Fabien higher!

First dive was great. Lots of fish, saw a turtle. Other group saw a Ray. Bad timing on our day the water was super choppy and ocean temp read 88 degrees F which was not fun in 5 mm suit. Had to sit the second dive out. Was too hot and hit sea sick. But the crew was not pushy at all about skipping the dive and made sure was ok. And even let me just swim in the ocean while others were diving to try to cool off. Was a neat dive site would def do again! Absolutely great company. Very well organized and safety is #1 would highly recommend
