Step aboard M/Y Modoc, a 140-foot conservation vessel anchored in the turquoise waters of Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula— one of the most biodiverse and magical places on Earth.
The Modoc Mission Retreat is a 5-day eco-adventure yoga and fitness retreat designed for those who crave both purpose and paradise.
Led by Captain Pete Bethune, founder of Earthrace Conservation, and Aurielle Emily Vendemmia, creator of True Moon Yoga & Fitness, this journey blends movement, mindfulness, and marine conservation into one unforgettable experience.
Each day on Modoc invites you to live in rhythm with the ocean — balancing wellness practices, adventure travel, and environmental impact.
Your mornings begin with sunrise yoga, hot Pilates, or mindful movement on deck. Afternoons bring snorkeling, beach cleanups, and eco-volunteer projects with the Earthrace crew. Evenings end with laughter, connection, and tropical sunsets over the Pacific.
This is more than a wellness retreat — it’s a transformational travel experience where you’ll strengthen your body, calm your mind, and make a difference for our planet.
Aboard a real conservation vessel — live like a crew member while enjoying boutique-style comfort.
Guided by global conservationist Captain Pete Bethune.
