About this trip

Monet and Chicago – In 1903, the Art Institute of Chicago became the first American museum to purchase on of Monet’s paintings. In keeping with the theme firsts, this is the first exhibition to explore Chicago’s pioneering connection to the great Impressionist artist. Today, the museum’s 33 paintings and 13 drawings constitute the largest collection of works by the artist outside of Paris. Among the more than 65 paintings in the exhibition—from the Art Institute’s exemplary holdings and esteemed Chicago-based collections—are beloved major works as well as rarely seen still lifes, figural scenes, seascapes, and landscapes, spanning Monet’s long career from early caricatures made at Le Havre to the last splendid canvases inspired by his garden and water lily pond at Giverny.

El Greco: Ambition and Defiance - This major exhibition charts the career of the artist known simply as El Greco. Over 57 works from across the world trace not only the development of his distinctive style but also the astounding ambition that drove him to relentlessly pursue success.

We truly enjoyed all aspects of the Princess Cruise including Stevie Jay’s coordination and Bill’s management of all travel to and from San Francisco via Chicago’s O’Hare and Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. We had several seasoned travelers wishing to share their experiences. Princess was outstanding with their meal plan and treating us as their special guests for the fifteen days. Highlights were our ability to chose our day trips to Volcanoes National Park, Pearl Harbor National Monument, Kolohani Plantation and Haleakala National Park. We will travel with Stevie Jay and We Travel again as long as we are mobile and enthusiastic about traveling!
I had a wonderful time. Food was great and the show, Yuletide Celebration, was outstanding! It was my first time for Yuletide Celebration, and I am looking forward to next year.
Great company. The show was awesome. Even better than last year. Loved the singers, orchestra and emcee. Really put us in the holiday spirit. The beef house dinner service was slow and found ourselves helping them!!! The trip was great.
Canyon Country: Fantastic trip. Awesome views of the national parks. Optional excursion to Monument Valley was a highlight for us. Mary Beth always provides excellent service. This tour was no exception! Bob and Cindy
