About this trip

Ski-In, Ski-Out in East Coast: Monsoon Diaries’ Annual Winter Ski Trips

For 15 years since 2009, every December we’ve road-tripped for a weekend of snow, slopes, and the HoHoHo of hot tubs, hot pot, and hot cocoa around the East Coast. What started as a casual off-the-books tradition: car pools from NYC, Boston, and Philly, 2 nights, everyone pitching in with food or potluck, has become a winter ritual that would kickstart the season for so many of our other monsoon adventures.

This year, we’re putting it on the books again and once again staying in a ski-in, ski-out lodging, so you can click into your skis and snowboards right from where you’re staying and end the day the same way.

For 15 years we’ve kept these ski weekends off the books as a tradition passed on by word-of-mouth. Now we’re finally opening it up as an official Monsoon Diaries trip. If you’ve ever wanted to join the family at its coziest, this is the time!

Enjoy your winter weekend getaway however you'd like! Ski, snowboard, snowshoeing, hiking, alpine skiing, tubing, sauna/spa, explore the town, shop; whatever you want!

On Day 4, we can all head back home after the slopes close.
