I am so pleased to be able to organise monthly crop days in a superb venue: Highwood Village Hall near Chelmsford. It's a large modern hall with a car park at the back.You can choose to craft your own stash but for an extra £5, you can purchase a project where you will learn a new technique. Your project will have everything you need for the layout! You will have the opportunity to use my equipment on the day and to purchase items at the shop, should you wish to. You are welcome to bring your own equipment and stash too.Booking is essential to ensure the correct number of projects are prepared.Please bring your own lunch. There is a fridge and a microwave for you to use. Free refreshments and biscuits/fruit are provided throughout the day.Please check details below. Prices are £23 without project.

Halloween Weekend Craft Retreat 31 Oct - 2 Nov 2025

I had a lovely weekend in a totally relaxed environment with some great company.    Everyone had a big table each in the spacious crop room too.

My hotel room was comfortable and there was a good choice of food available at each meal time.

I had a great weekend with lots of friendly peeps. 
The accommodation was fantastic and I slept like a log.  
The food was delicious with a nice selection! 
I can’t wait to come along to another brilliant weekend away with you all.

We had a great time. Wonderful people.  Good food. Venue  was very good bedrooms clean and comfortable 

A fabulous crafty weekend.  My first time at Grafham Water and I don't think it will be my last.  The accommodation was comfortable with good food. The craft room was very spacious with a large table provided for each person. The kit provided for the weekend was packed full of lovely papers, cardstock and embellishments. The whole weekend was very enjoyable.

Autumn Weekend Craft Retreat 10-12 October 2025

Thank you for this fantastic weekend, getting us ready and prepared for christmas 🎄 

Had a great time on this retreat, met some lovely crafters, checked out there work and it was stunning.
Was a leisure centre so rooms were a bit tight and mattresses bit fine but took own bedding so made it more comfortable, they were adequate for the time I spent in them. Definitely would book another retreat there.
Learnt lots, thoroughly enjoyed myself. 
View over the lake was smashing. 

A great weekend of crafting good food and great company. Would highly recommend.

Mid-Week Craft Retreat May 2025

Had a great time. Great venue, wonderful food. Very well organised, thanks Magali for another great crafting experience.

Absolutely fabulous time. Lots of crafting, lots of time to do own projects and fabulous pack provided to do layouts. Lots of laughs. Super company. Accommodation great, staff at centre are brilliant and the chefs really pulled it out the bag - very careful to cover everyone’s needs and produced top nosh.  Lovely bright room. All round fabulous few days. Thank you 

My first craft day, bought a project because I didn't know what to expect. 
Was given 1 page of scrapbook, which took me about half hour. There was a couple of bits i could buy to keep me occupied the rest of the day.6 other crafters there, was very quiet in the morning.  After lunch everyone was more engaging, plenty of tea and coffee supplied. I know now if I book again to take my scrapbooks or card making. 
I learnt a few bits from couple people sitting near me, which I will use.

A friendly,relaxing day at a lovely venue. Lots of space for our crafts & like minded people.  Highly recommend this .

&nbsp;We are using Highwood Village Hall, Highwood CM1 3QG. Large car park at the back of the hall with easy unloading into the craft room. Biscuits, tea &amp; coffee available all day. There is a shop on site and an equipment table. Come and learn new techniques through different projects and use in your own craft. Book to secure your place to avoid disappointment.

Where is it located?

We are all here to enjoy ourselves and each other’s company. We are all in a different place in our craft journey and our styles are all different. Let’s embrace our differences and help each other as we are learning new techniques.Project:The project focusses on a particular technique that will be demonstrated. Instruction sheets will be in the pack and help will be at hand.Food:Refreshments and biscuits will be provided. Feel free to bring your own cup if you wish. Please bring your own lunch (you can use a fridge and microwave).Shop:Scrap-Circle will set up shop and you will find stamps, papers, dies, ink pads, embellishments and basics such as glue and double-sided tape. You will also be able to purchase scrapbooking kits.Booking:All booking must be made in advance as places are limited. Ensure that you have a negative lateral flow test on the day and that you wear a mask to move around the hall.&nbsp;
