About this trip
Monthly Online Icaros Class
We intend to form a small group of Max 10 and a minim of 5 students to journey together over four months and learn four fundamental Icaros of the Shipibo Lopez family and some essential Shipibo language so you can form your own Icaro.
The group will meet one Sunday of the month starting on March 14th, then April 18th, May 23rd, June 20th on Zoom for the duration of 90'.
CET 8.30pm / EST 2.30pm / PST 11.30 am / AEDT 6.30 am (following day)
The classes will be recorded for you to access at your own time.
The Student will receive 4 Icaros, one each month:
- Opening the Space
- Bringing the "Mariacion"
- Calling the Master Plant/ Healing Icaros
- Closing the Space
You will also receive the lyrics with the translation, videos of Don Miguel signing the Icaros, and the Shipibo Icaros language e-book.
During the classes, we will practice the Icaros as a group and individually, and we will create a WhatsApp group to stay connect and support each other during this journey.

AYA Healing Retreats hosts transformative retreats in the spiritual homeland of the Shipibo people near Iquitos in the Peruvian Amazon. Our work is grounded in the traditions of the indigenous Shipibo people and is facilitated by highly respected female and male curanderos who have been apprenticed in shamanism from a young age. Our retreats invite participants to let go of limiting beliefs and buried wounding and to experience profound spiritual, emotional and physical transformation.

The facilitators were extremely skilled, sharp, kind and supportive.
Lara was able to translate concepts from Don Miguel in a very accessible way. Her guidance — spanning from logistical programming pieces to awareness/mindfulness practices — was immensely helpful. Mathis was a wealth of knowledge on spiritual concepts and kept it real, helping to bridge the gap between western thinking and medicine and Shipibo practice.
Don Miguel was warm, approachable and eager to teach.
Food was wholesome and yummy, and the staff was extremely kind and attentive.
This isn’t for the faint of heart. Neither the medicine nor the setting (it's not deep in the jungle, but it's still the jungle :)). But if you are ready to face whatever arises and want to do so in a safe and nurturing environment, AHR is a great place.

It was an amazing journey, nested in the beautiful amazonian forest. The food was delicious, the accommodation was nice and private, the hamac was a favorite spot. We were surrounded by a beautiful team who cared for each one of us. I am forever grateful

This was was one the most unique and impactful experiences I have had in my very big life thus far. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to more deeply explore a path of inner healing and exploration, in order to serve others. In addition to this, the program, the staff, the food, and especially the lead facilitator Cristina could not be faulted. All round 5/5 stars.

I recommend the Remote Noya Rao with all my heart , I felt very held , the people working for Aya Healing are all very kind and supportive .The dieta itself is : Life changing ❤️❤️❤️ definitely a beautiful ally to have . The way I look changed, I see light coming from my eyes , of course , life is not always easy but I feel Noya Rao gives me strength to overcome what comes .Special space to be in ❤️ feeling blessed to have dieted Noya Rao .
