A night in Montreal and two nights in Quebec...Two very different French Canadian cities for the price of one. Spend the first night in Montreal at the Holiday Inn Centre-ville. Located near the historic Old Port District, this is a great place to stay. After, some downtime, we get together for our welcome dinner in Old Montreal.

Full breakfast at the hotel before sightseeing in Montreal with a local guide. See the historic Old City, beautiful Notre Dame Basilica and the scenic view of the city from Mont Royal. This afternoon we will follow the scenic St. Lawrence River Valley to Quebec City. Our hotel in Quebec is the 4-star Palace Royal at the St John Gate to the Walled City. With Tours of Distinction the hotels are the best of the best. Dinner will be included at the Palace Royal tonight. 

See the Quebec Citadel, stroll the Boardwalk at Dufferin Terrace by the Chateau Frontenac and visit Place Royal where Samuel Champlain first settled over 400 years ago. We’ll visit the Plains of Abraham and the ornate Quebec Basilica. Shop, dine and explore. There’s a lot of history here. Our sightseeing continues at St. Anne de Beaupre, outdoor bread ovens and Montmorency Falls and dinner will be included at Café de Paris tonight. 

Homeward bound. Bargain shopping at Duty Free. Bonjour et adieu Montreal & Quebec. It’s been fun!
