About this trip

A once-in-a-lifetime adventure through the magical country of Morocco!  We'll stay in beautiful old guest houses (riads) and unique hotels, explore the ancient cities of Fes, Marrakech and Chefchaouen with local guides, ride camels into the golden sand dunes of the Sahara, sleep overnight in Berber tents (or in the open air under the stars!) and so much more!  I can't wait to introduce you to this enchanting place.

Optional yoga

Since I am a yoga teacher, I will offer some yoga classes throughout the trip.  Classes will mostly be held in the mornings before we start the day, but there may be an occasional evening class.  Yoga is completely optional and you don't have to do yoga to come on this adventure!

As a dynamic, curious, and light-hearted traveler, one of my great joys is introducing people to fascinating places. When we arrive in a new place, we begin to connect with local people, the culture, and the landscape. These interactions inevitably begin to change our inner landscapes as well: hearts swell, minds open, compassion and acceptance spread. I try to facilitate this same connection & expansion when I'm back home teaching yoga at local studios in Hoboken, Jersey City, and NYC. Let's go on some inner/outer adventures together!

Thank you Kim for a really memorable experience. The trip was everything you promised - a deep dive into the Colombian culture in the old city of Cartagena and the steamy jungle of the Sierra Nevadas of Santa Marta, superb cuisine, with so many gorgeous edible flowers, and real connection with the local community by staying in rustic lodges and engaging in two beautiful spiritual ceremonies. And the hiking, swimming in a sacred crystal lagoon, yoga on the beach and more. You'd researched every aspect of the trip and made connections with friendly and expert guides, drivers, translators and I felt very comfortable in this vibrant, unknown country. It was truly a wonderful experience and I'd travel with you anywhere, any time!

This was an amazing trip. Kim is the perfect guide. She was well prepared and attentive to everyone's needs. We saw Colombia as very few other visitors will ever experience it. The food was outstanding. This trip was a great combination of history, culture, food and fun. Thank you Kim! I'll be seeing you on more trips.

Once we turned the corner facing the beach I knew I was at peace for the next 7 days. The food, the air, the people-all of the surroundings is exactly what I needed . I have been wanting to come on this retreat for so many years and am so thankful I was able to go this year. I met some wonderful people, all brought together by Kim. Thank you for a trip of a lifetime.

Kim and James were the most amazing hosts! They put together such an incredible experience, and attracted really spectacular people. They know just how to balance activity and rest, and they were really in tune with the needs of the group. They are both such healers, and made everyone feel comfortable. I would go on absolutely any retreat with either one of them again!
