About this trip

A once-in-a-lifetime adventure through the magical country of Morocco!  We'll stay in beautiful old guest houses (riads) in Fes and Marrakech, explore these ancient cities with local guides, meander through the Blue City of Chefchaouen, ride camels into the Sahara Desert,  sleep overnight in Berber tents (or in the open air under the stars!) and so much more!  I can't wait to introduce you to this enchanting place.

Optional yoga

Since I am a yoga teacher, I will offer some yoga classes throughout the trip.  Classes will mostly be held in the mornings before we start the day, but there may be an occasional evening class.  Yoga is completely optional and you don't have to do yoga to come on this adventure!

Travelers will be picked up in the morning at Casablanca's Mohammed V Airport for transport onward to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. If time permits, we'll visit Hassan II Mosque, the 3rd largest mosque in the world. We'll arrive Chefchaouen by evening and settle into our riad (guest house). We’ll share a delicious welcome dinner together while a local guide provides some context of the city and its history.

As a dynamic, curious, and light-hearted traveler, one of my great joys is introducing people to fascinating places. When we arrive in a new place, we begin to connect with local people, the culture, and the landscape. These interactions inevitably begin to change our inner landscapes as well: hearts swell, minds open, compassion and acceptance spread. I try to facilitate this same connection & expansion when I'm back home teaching yoga at local studios in Hoboken, Jersey City, and NYC. Let's go on some inner/outer adventures together!
