About this trip

Welcome to the retreat page for Moroccan Magic! I'm stoked about our week together. I'm in love with this incredible boutique hotel and calm surrounding (with peacocks!) Read below about why this place is the best. If you have any questions, please email me or my fab retreat wizard & assistant, Dalton Homolka! He will be your liaison for all things logistics + travel!

Last year on this retreat, we fell in love with the rich culture that fills the crevices of Marrakesh, Morocco; the natural beauty, the kindness of their people, the life changing flavors, and bright beautiful colors thriving everywhere you look. We did indeed feel the magic, and are going back for more.

There is a choose your own adventure component to this week together; you could play hooky and skip morning yoga to sleep in! Or you could wake up early for mint tea at sunrise, or take the day off from the group and head to town where the culture shines and the shopping stuns.

There is wifi in the main lobby, so you can be as on or off the grid as suits your desires. You can be as active or still (private pool much?) as your body needs. This retreat is like a buffet (literally in moments!) - simply choose what experiences serve and excite you. This is all levels, all ages. Yoga is about flexibility of the mind, not the body. All classes are welcoming but not mandatory. This is a choose-your-own-adventure retreat, bowing out of a class to sleep in, is like soooo okay.

Featuring live musician, Clavin Arsenia on harp and vocal magic!

Hi, I’m Abbi. I’m here because I want you to find food friendship, body love, and business badassery. With yoga, nutrition, meditation and Dream Life business coaching as tools, you’ll be feeling funky fresh, in no time. I’m a lover of anything punny, getting my passport stamped and taking selfies at the grocery store with inanimate produce. I work all over the globe running yoga retreats from Greece to Morocco, speaking at events about body love and how to better use nutrition as fuel for our fabulous lives, as well as serving up private nutrition and business coaching to inspiring humans seeking to level-up their badassery; if not now, when?

This was such a lovely retreat! It was a great mixture of yoga flow and meditation along with the opportunity to soak up the local culture. The city of Reykjavik was thriving and exciting, full of activities and excursion for any type of person. And the country of Iceland was gorgeous in the summer with all different spectrums of vibrant colors, beautiful oceans waters, and the surprising yet welcoming presence of lava rock and black sand beaches. Abbi was a great host, offering lots of guidance as well as flexibility and freedom. Her morning yoga flows got us warmed up and motivated for the day and her evening yin classes helped us wind down and stretch after a long day of exploring. This was the second retreat that I’ve taken with Abbi and I’m going on another one with her in October. I so excited for more adventures!
This was a great group of ladies in a wonderful location. The yoga was lovely and the day trip to the Golden Circle was also really cool. The only thing I would have changed is having more information sooner. For example, it would have been nice to have a basic itinerary within a month rather than within a week so that I could have planned my own adventures a bit more easily.
