My Tuscany/Umbria slowcation was the absolute BEST from beginning to end thanks to our two fabulous leaders, Sandy and Monica! Without a doubt these lovely ladies made our Italian villa adventure a great experience for all with their kindness, patience, skills and upbeat personalities. I'll definitely be booking more trips with Globe Drifters...especially ones with Sandy and Monica as the leaders. I totally enjoyed all of the included day trips we took together, especially the ones to the sheep farm to learn about cheese making and to Quintosapore to learn about organic biodiversity farming. I really like the concept of "slowcation days" and spent a couple of days going to Orvieto and Siena with other villa mates as well as taking a cooking class from a local hotel chef. All and all, I had an amazing time, made new friends and left with wonderful memories that I will cherish forever. A special thanks to the Globe Drifters team for offering such a wide variety of trips and always adding more. You're awesome!

Thanks so much to Jodie and her team for curating, organising and leading this wonderful trip for our Solo In Style group. We experienced so much during our stay there - incredible food, stunning scenery, temples, shrines, geishas, a tea ceremony, ramen making class, saki tasting, Buddhist meditation, sumo wrestling, bullet trains, onsens, and of course, shopping! Everything ran so smoothly and we had plenty to experience as a group but also enough down time to do our own thing. There were lots of laughs along the way, with our fabulous group of women, and I can't wait to do it all again! Japan is a fascinating country - loved it all!

Great trip with wonderful group of ladies. Only input that could have made it better for me is knowing plans and free time. I missed scheduling several tours on my free time because “free time” was never clear.

Great trip. Naxos is a wonderful big island and no cruise ships dock there, unlike Santorini. There were very few other tourists competing for restaurants, beaches, shopping in town etc. The hotel was within walking distance to town and also to a good size grocery store for snacks, toiletries, souvenirs etc. The activities, those included and a few impromptu extras that we paid for such as Mykonos, were fun and well planned. Food and craft cocktails were amazing. Shopping was great- especially for silver jewelry, clothing, wraps. The people are warm and friendly.

This was an awesome trip. We had many included activities like traditional Kimono Tea Ceremony, Ramen cooking class, Sumo wrestler demonstration and a Zen meditation at a Buddhist temple. The Team Labs Digital art museum was amazing. There were visits to Temples/shrines, taking the bullet train, time for Ginza shopping district in Tokyo and the opportunity to go to an Onsen (Japanese style hot bath). Also time for massage in Takayama hotel. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to visit several cities in Japan, especially Kyoto and Tokyo. I also recommend arriving a day earlier (or seeing another city on your own or Mount Fuji) and/or staying a couple days later in Tokyo. So much to see and do. Don't miss the Fish Market.
