About this trip

This itinerary brings together hands-on activities, time outdoors, and opportunities to meet local families. With children aged 7 to 14 in the group, we’ll keep the days flexible, build in breaks, and leave room for everyone to enjoy each place at their own pace.

31 October – Welcome to Marrakech

Arrive in Marrakech at approximately 23:30. Your driver will meet you for the transfer to your accommodation, where you can check in and rest after your journey.

1 November – Discover Marrakech by Bike

Enjoy a relaxed morning before setting out on a guided bike ride through Marrakech. Explore neighborhood streets and see parts of the city beyond its best-known sights. After lunch, there will be time to wander the medina and souks, return to the accommodation for a break, or explore independently.

Note that the biking can be changed to walking

2 November – Pottery Workshop and Agafay

Spend the morning learning about calligraphy and Islamic Art. Families traveling with kids love this workshop as it gives the children a chance to be hands-on and learn a new skill.

After lunch, travel to Agafay. Ride a camel and settle into your camp. The rest of the afternoon is open for enjoying the landscape, relaxing, and spending time together before dinner under the stars.

Spend the morning in Essaouira. Families who would like to try surfing can join a lesson suited to their experience levels; others may prefer a beach walk or time exploring the medina’s small streets and shops. Return to Marrakech later in the day.

For your final evening, we’ll arrange a gathering with a local host family, with live music and the chance to meet other families with children. It will be an informal opportunity to share stories, ask questions about daily life in Morocco, and end the journey together.
