This Morocco trip is perfect for adventurous travelers looking to delve into Moroccan history and culture. Travel insurance, including emergency medical, evacuation, and repatriation coverage is required for all group trips with Booked by Iman, LLC. Squaremouth is a great resource for researching and purchasing travel insurance. 

It is highly recommended that you buy insurance within 15 days of paying your deposit in order to receive coverage for pre-existing conditions. Additional cancel for any reason protection is also recommended for more flexibility and increased protection of your investment in your trip.

Booked by Iman's Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to any travel related services from Booked by Iman, LLC (“we”, “us” and “our”) and govern the contractual relationship between the customer (“you”) and Booked by Iman, LLC. Please read these Terms & Conditions in their entirety before making your purchase. 

These Terms describe what you are legally entitled to expect from Booked by Iman, LLC when you purchase our services, in addition to your obligations as a customer. By booking and/or using any travel related services with Booked by Iman, LLC, you agree to be bound to these Terms & Conditions. These Terms only cover travel related services provided by Booked by Iman, LLC. They do not extend to any third-party vendors, tour operators, or partners.

Booked by Iman, LLC is not an operator of tours, activities, nor is it a provider of tours or activities. Booked by Iman, LLC does not own, sell, resell, furnish, provide, manage and/or control any transportation or tour services. Our responsibilities are limited to providing planning or booking services for the customer’s requested destination.

Booked by Iman, LLC understands circumstances may arise that prevent you from attending our group trips. All cancellations must be received in writing and emailed to bookedbyiman@gmail.com. 

All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE three business days after purchase and agreement to Booked by Iman LLC's terms and conditions.

All other monthly installment payments, with the exception of payment processing fees, for Booked by Iman, LLC’s group trips are refundable up to 100 days prior to the trip start date. 99 days or less prior to the group trip start date, all payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. 

Transfers of any payment amount to another participant or Booked by Iman, LLC group trip, custom itinerary, and/or travel related service are made at the sole discretion of Booked by Iman, LLC.

By reserving or participating in any travel services offered by ALYELE TOURS SARL (authorized to do business as Sahara Desert Travel) (hereinafter "The Company") constitutes a contractual agreement between the participant (“you") and The Company and is an acknowledgement that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). You must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation. In all cases, the person making the reservation represents and warrants that all participants have consented to, accepted, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

PAYMENT

The client will have to pay a 20% deposit to be paid by bank transfer. It is understood that in case of not paying the advance payment mentioned above, any acceptance of the proposal will not be binding for ALYELE TOURS SARL, which will occur only when we have received payment of the deposit.

The balance can be paid by bank transfer within 60 days of the start of the trip. It is understood that, in the event that the client does not pay the balance to the extent and within the mandatory period mentioned above, we will be entitled to consider the contract for non-compliance and permanently retain the advance payment already paid.

WITHDRAWAL OF THE CONTRACT
The client has the right to withdraw up to 60 days before his trip. In this case, the client will not have to pay the remaining amount owed but the amount already paid will be withheld as a penalty.

However, when the withdrawal, for any reason communicated, occurs within 60 days prior to departure, ALYELE TOURS SARL will retain, always as a penalty, the entire price received.

MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION OF THE TRIP BEFORE DEPARTURE
Up to three days before departure, where ALYELE TOURS SARL needs to significantly change one or more elements of the tour package, it immediately informs the client in writing, including by email, indicating the exchange rate and the resulting price variation.

If you do not accept the proposed amendment referred to in paragraph 1, the customer will have, as the sole remedy available to him, the right to a refund of the sum up to that point.
For cancellations due to force majeure, unforeseen circumstances or failure to reach the minimum number of participants (in case of group tours), ALYELE TOURS SARL must return to the client, as the only remedy available to the latter, the amount already paid by the same. In the case of assumptions different from those indicated above, ALYELE TOURS SARL will instead return to the client double what he paid up to that point.

CHANGE AFTER DEPARTURE
ALYELE TOURS SARL if after departure it cannot provide for any reason an essential part of the services included in the tourist package, it will have to provide alternative solutions, without price supplements charged to the client and if the services provided are of lower value than a those provided, refund in an amount equal to the difference.

If an alternative solution is not possible, that is the solution prepared by ALYELE TOURS SARL is rejected for proven and justified reasons, ALYELE TOURS SARL will offer, without price supplement, a means of transport equivalent to the original provided for the return to the place of departure or to the different places eventually agreed, in a manner compatible with the availability of the vehicles and places, and will reimburse the client to the extent of the difference between the cost of the planned services and that of the services provided up to the moment of early return, excluding any other compensation for compensation to the client.

RESPONSIBILITY SYSTEM
ALYELE TOURS SARL is responsible for damages caused to tourists due to total or partial non-performance of contractually owed services, whether performed personally or by third party service providers, unless it proves that the event arises from the fact of the tourist (including initiatives taken autonomously by the latter during the execution of tourist services) or by the act of a third party of an unforeseeable or inevitable nature, due to circumstances not related to the provision of the services provided by the contract, by chance or due to force majeure or circumstances that the organizer itself could not, in accordance with professional diligence, reasonably foresee or resolve.

Welcome to Marrakech! You’ll be greeted by a member of the Sahara Desert Travel team, who will bring you to the hotel. Get to know your fellow travelers at our welcome dinner at a rooftop restaurant.

The day starts with a guided tour of Marrakech. We’ll visit Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian tombs and Bahia Palace. After lunch, our guide will take us inside the souk, Marrakech’s famous market, and explain the local delicacies you can find.

In the morning your culinary skills will be put to the test at a Moroccan cooking class. You’ll be rewarded for your efforts with a tasty lunch made by you!

After lunch, we’ll spend the afternoon at the tranquil Jardin Majorelle.

Our journey to the Sahara Desert begins today! Enjoy exceptional views of the Atlas Mountains as we drive through the highest pass, Tizi n’Tichka. 

The next stop is UNESCO World Heritage site Ait Ben Haddou, where the movies Gladiator and Alexander were filmed. You will have time to explore the city and climb the fortress, which boasts beautiful views.

After lunch, we will continue our journey with a stop in Ouarzazate. See handmade crafts created by female artisans when we visit a local women's collective.

We’ll spend the night in the charming town of Boumalne Dades.

Driving Time: 6 hours

The journey to the Sahara Desert continues with a stop at Todra Gorges. This deep canyon reaches a height of 300 meters. We'll pass by Tinerhir, a scenic valley rich in palm groves, and Erfoud, home to a number of fossils.

The last stop is Merzouga, a small village on the outskirts of the Sahara Desert. We’ll finish the final part of our journey to our luxury desert camp on camel back. Enjoy the desert sunset, starry night sky, and Berber music played in front of a bonfire!

Our 2-night stay in the desert includes a tent with a private bathroom and hot water shower.

Driving Time: 4 hours

The morning will be spent taking a thrilling ride in the Sahara’s sand dunes. The day continues with a visit to a nomadic family living in the desert. Hear how they live in this extreme climate.

Our last stop is the village of Khamila, home to a community of sub-Saharan Africans. Experience a Gnawa traditional music performance, a mix of Islamic religious songs and African rhythms.

Spend the afternoon relaxing at our luxury desert camp or enjoy the sunset during an (optional) ATV ride through the sand dunes.

Driving Time: 4 hours

We will depart from Merzouga bright and early to journey back to Marrakech.

Our route will take us through the Draa Valley, which contains numerous fortified villages, surrounded by palm groves. Next stop is Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa. Here you can visit the cinema museum and the famous Atlas Studios (both optional). 

You will again cross the Atlas mountains before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.

Driving Time: 10 hours

Spend the morning relaxing at a traditional Moroccan hammam. This experience includes a steam room and body scrub. Finish your rejuvenating spa experience with a relaxing massage.

Our time in Morocco ends with a farewell dinner at Comptoir Darna. Known for its lively atmosphere and belly dance performances, it will be a memorable final night in Marrakech.
