Tonight’s stay is something special — a desert oasis set on the edge of the Sahara, with a pool overlooking the dunes. It’s the perfect place to unwind after today’s drive. We'll drive deeper into the desert today and leave behind civilization to see a different side of the Sahara. For lunch, you're in for a treat as you'll get to try madfouna (Moroccan pizza). Then, hop in a 4WD vehicle through Erg Chebbi's sea of wind-blown sands toward your desert camp. On the way, visit the village of Khamlia, home to the Gnawa community — descendants of sub-Saharan Africans brought to Morocco generations ago. They'll perform some of their musical traditions passed down through generations. At sunset, hop on a camel and go for a ride over the dunes.
Tonight, enjoy a hearty feast followed by a campfire with a Berber drum circle while an infinite number of stars above you set the scene for a magical evening.

Head to Marrakech, also known as The Red City, for a guided walking tour of its exotic medina filled with mouthwatering foods, colorful spice markets, and traditional musicians.
The rest of the day is yours free. We recommend dinner at the famous Djemaa el Fna. When the night falls on this square, it transforms into a hive of activity — henna painters, performers, and storytellers share the square with a street food bazaar, loaded with Moroccan delicacies. While you're there, why not enjoy a few Moroccan pastries with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice? We suggest finishing your day with a cup of tea at one of the rooftop restaurants overlooking the square.
*NOTE: The medina is a main attraction in Marrakech. Even if you're not an avid shopper, many enjoy just getting lost in the sights, sounds, and smells of the souks. If you do not wish to join the group in the medina for shopping, you are welcome to return to the hotel or explore on your own.

Transfers: Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech (approximately 4 hours)

You have today free to wander the medina for some last-minute shopping to practice your haggling skills, a break from the hustle to sip on a glass of tea, or one last tagine. Maybe you prefer to take a stroll through the tropical gardens of the French painter Jacques Majorelle (now owned by Yves Saint Laurent). Instead, you may opt to check out Palais Bahia and Palais Badi's bold and impossibly intricate tilework. Alternatively, the Saadian Tombs are a recently uncovered gem of the medina if you'd like to learn about the local history. This evening, if you're drawn back to Djemaa el Fna and its surrounding medina, we suggest a meal at one of the many outdoor restaurants lining the square as a great way to end your adventure.
