About this trip

Join Satya for four nights and five days of healing, community, and rejuvenation in Mount Shasta. Hestia Retreat Center is a magical healing sanctuary surrounded by a flowing creek, labyrinth, healing meditation garden, and 10 acres of forested land. Wake up to sounds of the creek and breathtaking views of nearby Mount Shasta, a majestic volcano known for its powerfully healing energies. A POC stewarded center, Hestia is a peaceful gathering place to relax, connect and soak in the serenity of nature. Just a 10-minute walk to the wood stove sauna and healing baths of Stewart Mineral Springs with. Mornings will include a moderate to vigorous Hatha Flow practice and brunch. Afternoons will include free time and organized trips to explore the sacred sites of Mount Shasta and deepen your Yoga practice close to the nature.  The central exploration of the retreat will be to hold self and nature as sacred and inseparable. 

Satya teaches in a radically inclusive way with special focus on therapeutics, alignment, and preventing injury. This retreat is open to all levels of experience. people of all genders, 15+ in age, religions, ethnicities, races, abilities, immigration statuses, shapes, sexual orientation are welcome and celebrated.  

Space is limited to 13 people to make the retreat personalized and intimate. The retreat will most likely sell out so it's recommended you reserve your spot with a deposit by March.

Arrival: 2-4 pm Sunday, June 9th (late arrival possible if approved by organizer)

Departure: 1 pm Thursday, June 13th

3. All deposits & payments are NON-REFUNDABLE and NO EXCHANGES. This includes acts of God or Mother Nature. Please make sure you purchase travel insurance that would cover a cancelled retreat or your personal need or emergency to cancel your retreat. As times become more turbulent, it's important to be prepared. Lonely planet has good insurance. Make sure to check fine print.

Offering 12 years of experience teaching yoga, Satya de la Paz August inspires students to fall in love with their bodies and their practice. She infuses dynamic alignment, chanting, storytelling, and community-building into her classes. Satya is deeply grateful for her mentor, Abby Tucker, as well as all of her dharma and movement teachers: Sally Kempton, Rob Preece, and Sianna Sherman. Satya's classes are a classroom and restoration of our most awakened blissful being for multiracial, multi-gender, and multigenerational groups.


The retreat was amazing! In the face of massive venue challenges, Satya,the organizer, stepped up and found a Way to make the long anticipated retreat happen.

I had a lovely time during this retreat. The accommodations were excellent, the interactions were holistic and restorative. And all of the womxn were just so very dynamic in their own way! Activities and time for rest and recreation were built-in well to the itinerary. I am truly looking forward to growing, glowing, and going higher with the team at SoulFlow! Love you all!

This was a beautiful experience with a lovely community. Satya and her team (Jasmine, Bria and Sonia) intentionally thought through every aspect of the retreat experience, and it resulted in me being able to drop in and feel at ease throughout the retreat. The days were designed to feel spacious yet really rich and deep as well. I was grateful for the teachings during yoga and meditation practice, and how those themes were woven throughout our experiences through readings and quotes displayed during mealtimes. It made me feel really immersed in the teachings, and I returned home with a lot of learnings and energy. The retreat center and surroundings are just gorgeous and so peaceful. I loved making connections within our POC community throughout our time together. I have learned so much from Satya in how she teaches, how she holds space, and how she shows up as her full self. I'm looking forward to continuing to be in community together.

Satya holds such beautiful space for community healing. Yoga as an embodiment insight practice with the workout as a healthy byproduct and not the other way around. I highly recommend joining her retreats!
