Mary Beth Kurasek welcomes you aboard our private motor coach as we travel to Chicago. If the airline charges checked baggage fees, she provides a gift card to pay the airline for that! We board our overnight flight to Munich.
We arrive this morning in Munich, Germany and are met by our private motor coach and taken to the hotel. Mary Beth sees to it that we get into our rooms okay this afternoon and gives ideas about things to see and do.
Munich sites to see: Marienplatz, Nymphenburg Palace & Olympic Stadium.
Today is free to explore Munich and at 6 p.m., meet your Tour Director and traveling companions for a welcome dinner at your hotel. (B, D)
Munich, near the Alps.
Munich, Germany’s “Secret Capital”, comes alive during an orientation featuring the Olympic Stadium, 1,000-foot-high Olympic Tower, and MARIENPLATZ in the historic heart of the city. A comfortable drive brings you to picturesque Oberammergau. Afternoon and evening are dedicated to the world-famous PASSION PLAY, held every 10 years and performed by the inhabitants of Oberammergau.
