Mushrooms and Meditation! Have you ever experienced Telluride on Mushrooms? Well come one, come all to the Telluride Adventure retreat of the year hosted during the Mushroom Festival. While festival tickets are separate there are plenty of free events you can enjoy during our retreat from vendor booths to the mushroom parade and drum circle to follow. Forage for mushrooms in your free time or talk with some of the top Mushroom experts at the vendor booths or Farmer's Market. You will enjoy all the things Telluride has to offer! From a private chef experience to mushroom crown making, this retreat has a bit of meditation and a lot of magic to offer!
Have you always wanted to explore the quaint mountain town of Telluride tucked into a box canyon surrounded by the majestic San Juan Mountains? Have you skied Telluride in the winter, but had no idea there was life beyond the snowy slopes? Could you use a retreat that combines wellness with hiking led by someone who's been hosting retreats since 2014 in the area and has all the knowledge of a local?

Join us for the signature Telluride adventure retreat. This will be our 10th year returning to Telluride and you're invited! If you love hikes to waterfalls, bike riding through the valley floor to a local brewery, enjoying yoga on top of a mountain, rounded out by a cold plunge in the river outside your door and a soak in the on site hot tub then this retreat has everything you're looking for. You'll enjoy free hot breakfast provided by an on-site assistant cooked fresh daily. You'll have the option to join the San Juan Outdoor School for an epic adventure on the Via Ferrata for an additional fee.
Your friends won't believe how fearless you are when they see photos of you hanging off a cliff 350 feet off the valley floor. Your family and friends will think you've lost your marbles when they see you've opted in for a morning paraglide experience to enjoy the town from a birds eye view with Tellyourideparagling.
Come solo or bring a friend, with shared lodging you'll never feel left out. There's plenty of downtime built in for rest and rejuvenation in-between our adventures. I know the best locals only secret hikes and have built great relationships with the local businesses to bring you great discounts. Our mountaintop yoga will complement all the hard work you do on the trail. This weekend is about building relationships, testing your physical and mental limits and enjoying all the beauty Telluride has to offer. If you've never been to this little mountain town you are in for a treat as it's like nothing else you've experienced and if you have been, you'll see it in a whole new light.
Re:Treat yourself is my motto and unlike some retreats where you feel you have to keep up with a group pace or apologize for taking time for yourself, I cater to those who want to show up and enjoy themselves without having to worry about a rigid schedule. If you are a beginner yogi or injured mover my classes will offer many modifications tailored to your needs. I have been hosting yoga retreats since 2014 all over the world and am eager to help you get the most out of our time together by blending a mix of culture, experiences, yoga and connectivity to provide you a weekend you'll never forget!

Updated COVID Cancellation Policy: You understand that the COVID-19 pandemic may still be a consideration during the year 2023 and understand your risk and liability with attending this retreat. It's strongly recommended to purchase retreat insurance to protect your investment in this retreat or forfeit the right to a refund due to having to cancel for any COVID -19 related illnesses for yourself or family member. You understand you are urged to undergo COVID-19 testing before the retreat and will be required to sign a COVID-19 waiver before attending the retreat if COVID-19 is still a consideration in 2023.
Travel insurance is available upon booking through a private insurance company. No refunds of any kind and all payments are final so if you think you might need to cancel for any reason please purchase the travel insurance to protect your trip.

Exclusive Chef Experience
Kenneth Kinser Is the retired executive chef at Devil's Kitchen in Grand Junction. He honed his skills at the nationally recognized Yard House restaurant where he moved up in ranks to become their Executive Chef. He then went on to become the Executive Chef at the immensely popular Needle Rock Brewing Co. in Delta and, upon moving to Grand Junction, beat out 40 other applicants to be hired as the Executive Chef at the Devil's Kitchen. He's extremely talented and will put together a private curated dinner and drink menu that you will love to end our time together here!
Schedule is subject to change
A detailed schedule with activities as well as a packing list will be provided before the retreat. I do not publish my schedule for privacy concerns and because I base my schedule off the weather and activities my clients book for the retreat. I have also had issues with copywriting and other competitors stealing my retreat ideas so please note that a schedule will only be sent prior to the retreat to paid in full guests. Last year's schedule is published on here, but it is subject to change due to weather, however the heart of the activities from the hikes to Mushroom parade, option to climb the Via Ferrata and Paraglide remain

You will be asked to sign a waiver after booking the retreat where you also acknowledge all assumptions and risks signing up for this adventure retreat!
All payments are due in full 75 days out and if payments are not made in full by the due date you understand you will forfeit any payments, your retreat spot, and are still responsible for the balance owed in full plus 18% interest.
Please purchase the optional retreat insurance after booking to protect your investment.

Reach new heights and feel the rush of mountain air on the Telluride Canopy Adventure. Experience 5 ziplines, 2 aerial bridges, and 2 rappels. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the surrounding San Juan Mountains that you’ll never forget!

OVERVIEW
The Telluride Canopy Adventure begins at the Telluride Adventure Center (map here) where you will be briefed with a safety video, weigh in, and get geared up. Next you will ride the Village Express Chairlift and walk to the training area. After your adventure, side by side UTVs will return you to the Mountain Village Core. Guests should arrive at the Telluride Adventure Center 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. Late arrivals may not be accommodated.

- Minimum Weight: 80 lbs
- Maximum Weight: 250 lbs
- Maximum Height: 6’6″
- All guests must sign a liability waiver before adventure
- Ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult
- All guests will be weighed and measured prior to tour start. Any guests not meeting the weight/height requirements will not be allowed access. Refunds for failing to meet weight/height requirements are not considered.

- Weather dependent with money back guarantee if tours are canceled prior to departure
- Canopy Adventures start PROMPTLY at the designated time; Late arrivals may not be accommodated
- Any guest(s) unable to meet the 80lb weight minimum and/or the 250lb weight maximum requirements will not be allowed access to the course and will not receive a refund. The same policy is applicable for the 6’6″ height max.

*Due to the nature of the condo set up it may not be possible to accommodate more than a 2 person roommate request. Guests wanting to room with more than two people will have to share a queen bed in a condo to accommodate the request. If I’m sold out of queen beds please message me prior to booking so I can see if I can rent another small condo.*

Please note you will be in a three to four person shared condo. This is for the solo adventure seeker who would like their own bed.
Small condos have single bunk beds which are separated from the queen room by a curtain or door depending on the condo. Each bed is a twin. Please note this is not the most comfortable option for those taller in size.

If you like to spread out when you're sleeping please book a queen private bed. Single bunk beds may not be suitable for every traveler.
These are studio style condos. There is no separation between the kitchenette and the bedrooms so please keep that in mind when booking. Each condo is about 450 sq.

These condos each have a queen bed that is separated from the single bunks by a curtain or door. You'll have a little more room to spread out if you book the queen bed and a little more privacy. You will, however, be sharing a condo with at least 2 other guests and sharing a bathroom as well. Each condo has a kitchenette and the lower level ones have a patio.
These are studio style condos. There is no separation between the kitchenette and the bedrooms so please keep that in mind when booking. Each condo is about 450 sq.

Message me prior to booking if you'd like to know more about this option and see if your alternative lodging plans line up with the retreat schedule. It is not ideal to book to stay in Ridgway or Ouray due to the driving distance to and from the retreat for daily activities.

This is entirely your responsibility and you assume all responsibility when booking this option. You can enjoy and take part in the retreat and go back to your own housing at night!

Want to share a condo with your friends and not have any other guests in your room?
For this option one person would have the queen bed and the two other guests would be in the bunks or two people can share the queen bed and one person in the bunks. Regardless, there would only be three people in your condo. I can create separate payment plans upon signup. Only one person needs to register in the beginning...however whoever signs up is responsible for full payment. If your friends cancel, I am not obligated to find replacement roommates for you and you will still be charged the remaining balance. So choose your friends wisely!

Itinerary
4:00pm: Check-in
If you arrive in town earlier then feel free to walk around and enjoy or grab some food but the condos aren’t guaranteed to be ready until 4pm. If you can please try to arrive by 6:30 or 7 at the latest. If you cannot be there by 7 please let me know prior to arriving so I know when to expect you. Please try not to arrive after 10pm as this is disruptive to your roommates and myself who are trying to sleep and settle in after a long day. I will email each group your condo code to check in to your condo as well as directions to the Viking Lodge. Only one car may park per condo, the rest can park in the free lot at the base of lift 7 which is a 3-5 min walk down the river. We will kick off night one with a getting to know you game and going over what to expect for the rest of the week. You are welcome to bring dinner/drinks to our welcome circle as well. I will have red wine and a Charcuterie board and veggies. Plan on meeting at the main condo 100A at 6:30pm.
