The tools we’ll use:

We'll be incorporating tried and tested practices such as journaling, group sharing, self-enquiry, breath-work and meditation. We'll also be exploring creative tools such as poetry, drawing, song-writing and dance. These will be interspersed with key teachings and coaching techniques.

About our approach.

We offer a safe space to get curious, open up and discuss with others, aspects of your life you’re finding challenging or simply want to improve. Naturally it is a completely confidential space, where individuals can openly share their feelings and thoughts with the option of anonymity.

Your safety comes first.

Your safety is our main priority. For this reason, we may need to ask participants for some personal medical information, before we can confirm your place on the workshop. These are standard questions, there to protect your safety and everyone else involved. This information will only be shared on a need to know basis and will be GDPR compliant. We will also be undertaking other necessary safety measures, during and post-retreat.

We would highly recommend individuals with concerns relating to pre-existing mental health conditions, substance misuse and related disorders to seek immediate professional help.

A powerful and transformative weekend, exploring how leadership intersects with queer identity. I left having increased awareness of the influences around us, and of knowledge in how I wanted to lead alongside my identity. For a while I have become aware of the responsibility I feel in corporate, and following the weekend have the tools to engage and be mindful of how to work alongside others in this space.

Excellent workshop with a very important theme. Wonderful break out discussions. Strongly recommend. Would only ask for more tangible examples for the group to use in the break out sessions. Thanks for having us!

There's such a uniquely wholesome environment that is created by the team - it's a few hours of being less of who the world expects us to be and more of who we really are.

I found this workshop very inspiring and moving. The speakers and couchers were very insigful, kind and skillful. It was an amazing space to share and conect with people of my comunity. And there was a lot of conection between us, even if we where miles apart. I think the work that "We create space" is excellent and I thank them so much for creating such space.

We Create Space does what the name suggests incredibly well. This was a transformative weekend, with a perfect mix of holistic practise mixed with philosophy and psychology which made it both informative and reflective. The space was open, friendly, revelatory and I feel like I've met some really interesting people as a result, and given myself a moment of self care and love as well. Many elements of it are still impacting me several weeks later, and I believe many of the tools practiced will continue to affect how I live my life honestly and authentically moving forward. Would absolutely recommend to any members of the LGBTQ+ community looking to explore their relationship to their sexuality and gender further and in the company of like-minded people supporting you along the way.

I took part in a weekend Who Am I? retreat and highly recommend it. The group size is intimate so never feels too daunting and you're able to build connections well. Maylis was a fantastic organiser - felt there was great communication from pre-booking right through to afterwards. Michael is a fantastic host, he leads the retreat with from a place of kindness, vulnerability and openness I find really commendable. Whether you're new to self exploration or a seasoned pro - I think this is worth doing.

I attended the Who Am I retreat in early June to explore my identify as a gay man. I found the retreat a life-enriching experience. The communication before the retreat was excellent and I particularly enjoyed the pre-retreat call. It was an intense two days - and virtual because of lockdown - but the conversations were enriching and inspiring and I thought that the structure and content was very well designed. Recommended!
