• The Tomb of Iulia Hașdeu (the “chained crypt”)

  Iulia Hașdeu died aged 18, and her father, the scholar B. P. Hașdeu, claimed to have communicated with her spirit in séances. The tomb in Bellu is reputedly built following instructions she gave from beyond.
