About this trip

East meets west in this immersive week of spiritual journeying and journaling. Your guides are a yogini and Tibetan shaman, as well as an Irish druid with years of channelled writing experience. Begin your day with soothing yoga and meditation. Absorb the Celtic twilight with an evening druidic ritual around an ancient stone circle. In between, enjoy tours of some of the most spectacular scenery in Ireland.

You’ll also have classes in automatic writing to help you develop your claircognizance, create time to write, journal into your soul, and overcome writer’s block once and for all. An added bonus will be instruction in the ancient art of divination, and a private healing consultation with a gifted homeopath.

If you can imagine yourself standing on cliffs that soar 700 feet above the Atlantic, having dinner in a haunted 12th century castle, walking through the forest said to be home of the King of the Faeries of Connaught, and visiting a prehistoric dun fort on the isle of Inis Mór, then this is the spiritual pilgrimage for you.

This was a fabulous tour. Alternating days of touring and conference made it easier for me to manage my stamina. Some of the sites we visited were difficult to reach—this is not a trip for people with serious mobility limits. My limitations are pretty mild, so I was able to handle most of the tour, but sometimes it was a struggle. As a published author and freelance editor, I found that a lot of the teaching covered things I already knew. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed my time with the instructor. She helped me brainstorm some pacing and character development issues for my third novel. I highly recommend this course for new to intermediate writers. The teaching is thorough. Fiona is a fantastic tour guide. Her knowledge of local lore is terrific, and she's a great storyteller.
A wonderful journey I'll remember forever. The perfect balance between writing instruction and exploring. Both equally inspiring.
This was an incredible trip. The balance between writing sessions and exploring the countryside was perfect. The food and people of Ireland are delightful

I attended an Ireland Writer Tour and it was a great experience! I highly recommend the tour both for the writing advice it provides and the awesome places you visit. You should go!!

I went on an Ireland Writer Tour in 2016 and it was one of the best weeks of my life. I met wonderful people, many of whom I now call friends, saw beautiful places, learned lots of Irish history and got my first novel headed in the right direction all inside of seven days. I highly recommend this tour and the guide!
