0630HRS - 1000HRS
Nairobi National Park is the oldest national park in Kenya, established in 1946, and is the only national park in the world located within a capital city. Wide open grass plains and the backdrop of the city scrapers scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, and a diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. Some of the bird species in the park include the Secretary bird, Lesser kestrel, Martial eagle, Pallid harrier, Sooty falcon, White-bellied bustard, grey-crowned crane, Corncrake and many others.

10:30HRS – 12;00HRS

At 10:30 hrs your will proceed to David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to walk through the center from 11am - 12pm in an open space, with a rope fence around it. The youngest elephants come trotting out of the bush to greet their keepers who stand at the ready with giant bottles of milk. For the next 10-15 minutes you can watch each little one slurp and gargle their milk. Then, you'll have time to watch the elephants play. You find out how old they were when they arrived at the orphanage, where they were rescued from, and what got them into trouble. The most common reasons for getting orphaned being: mother's poached, falling into wells, and human/wildlife conflict. Once the youngest are all fed, they are led back into the bush, and it's the turn of the 2-3 year olds. Some of them can feed themselves, and some are still fed by their keepers. Watch them interact with their keepers, munch on some branches of their favorite acacias, and play with the half drums of water and mud

12:00HRS – 13:40HRS

Time for Lunch at Nairobi Carnivores restaurant.

Dine in Carnivore Restaurant where meats are roasted on traditional Maasai swords over a huge charcoal pit that dominates the restaurant's entrance. The rough-hewn beams combine the rustic feel of a rural setting with that of a medieval banqueting hall. The full meal including the soup course is at a set price. A vegetarian menu is also offered

13:45HRS – 14:50HRS

After Lunch you will proceed to Giraffe Centre where you will have a close look and take photos with the giraffes.

The Giraffe Centre was established in 1983 by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (A.F.E.W. Kenya), an NGO that was founded in 1979 by the late Jock Leslie-Melvill. Since then, the centre has seen many different species of giraffes come up in its precincts. The Centre is also equipped with an education centre for tourists. Visitors can partake in the main attraction of the centre and feed the giraffes from a raised observation platform, and if you are lucky, even kiss one.

14:50HRS – 16:30HRS.

After spending a good time with giraffes, you will take a drive to The Bomas of Kenya. Bomas of Kenya offers Kenya in miniature! Situated 10km from Nairobi city center, Bomas of Kenya lets you see the wonderful diversity of cultures that make up this fascinating country. At Bomas, different aspects of Kenyan culture are displayed including living styles, crafts, music and dancing. The word Bomas was derived from "Boma"-a Swahili word for enclosed homestead and there are now many different "Bomas", each one representing one of Kenya's major ethnic groups. Don't miss out on the most exciting traditional dances and acrobatic shows before heading back to your hotel.
