Join us for NAMASWEAT at Casa Tara Wellness Resort in El Sargento, Baja California Sur, Mexico April 15-20, 2022! Your retreat leader, Lauren McHale, is a certified personal trainer, corrective exercise and group training specialist, nutrition coach and yoga instructor based in Northern California. Your experience includes daily NAMASWEAT workouts, yoga, meditation, self-compassion workshops, healthy and delicious meals provided by Casa Tara, and plenty of free time to relax by the pool, swim in the ocean, or book a spa treatment.
Lauren's teaching experience includes over eight years as a senior instructor for SoulCycle in San Francisco, 10 years as a Yoga for Athletes instructor in both group and one-on-one settings, and over 5 years as a personal trainer and group training specialist. The NAMASWEAT retreat program debuted at Esalen Institute in 2018, and elements of this curriculum will be incorporated into the Casa Tara itinerary as well.
How often do you pause and listen to your own internal dialogue? Our understanding of our relationship with ourselves is a key aspect to Lauren McHale’s NAMASWEAT program. Combining the physical practice of group fitness classes with self-compassion workshops, Lauren facilitates an environment for deep self-exploration and interpersonal connection. The NAMASWEAT experience is for ALL AGES and ALL LEVELS of experience. The goal is to strike a balance between hard work and self-care in a way that feels authentic and enjoyable. The classes are a combination of yoga and strength-training exercises set to high-energy music that will help alleviate insecurities and leave your body feel sore and restored.
Lauren’s success as a fitness professional is rooted in vulnerability and openness. Her coaching style is focused on taking the intimidation factor out of self-care and creating an environment for collective consciousness, connection and self-compassion.
