Join Jess Pierno, 500hr RYT and owner of Yoga Heights in Washington, DC, and Julie Nogueira, registered yoga instructor and founder of Annapolis Yoga By the Bay, for a 4-night get-away at the Indian Springs Resort & Spa in Napa Valley, California.

A DAY IN THE LIFE.  Start your day off with an energizing yoga class in the resort's aptly named Buddha Pond. Then head to Sam's Social Club for a delicious breakfast or cook one yourself in our group's well-appointed kitchen.

After fueling up, explore one of the several wineries within biking distance of the resort, or head into downtown Calistoga for some shopping. Feel like lying low? There's always the resort spa known for its signature mud bath treatment. 

Finally, wind down with a slow flow class followed by dinner at one of the many restaurants within walking distance. 

ABOUT THE RESORT.  With its Olympic-sized mineral pool, full-service spa, and boho chic appeal, the Indian Springs Resort & Spa is the ideal spot for a yoga retreat in the Napa Valley region. The Resort is centrally located in downtown Calistoga and is a short walk from numerous shops, restaurants, and (most importantly) wineries!

Additionally, Calistoga offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, canoeing, and hot air balloon tours. 

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL. Book before May 1st to take advantage of our Early Bird Pricing! From now until May 1st rates start at just $850 for a shared room. Guests have the option of adding the Sip & Cycle group bike tour of four local wineries for an additional $150.

CANCELLATION POLICY.  Registrants who cancel 90+ days from the departure date will receive a 75% refund minus the non-refundable deposit. Registrants who cancel between 30-89 days of the departure date will receive a 40% refund minus the non-refundable deposit. Registrants who cancel between 0-29 days of the departure date will receive no refund of any kind. The $150 fee for the Sip & Cycle Winery Tour is fully refundable if canceled 15 days or more prior to the departure date. 

YOUR RETREAT LEADERS.  Julie’s invigorating Hot Vinyasa Flow classes are designed to help students increase their flexibility, strength, and mind/body connection. She takes a holistic approach to her teachings, often integrating aromatherapy, pranyama, and an uplifting soundtrack. Julie completed her 200 hour teacher training with Kim Mandfredi at Charm City Yoga and is registered with Yoga Alliance. Last fall she led a retreat in Arizona, which was attended by 14 yogis and yoginis. She's thrilled to embark on a similar adventure in the Napa Valley region with Jess this August.

Jess is a 500hr RYT and the owner of Yoga Heights Studio in Washington, DC. She fell in love with yoga because of the way it took her out of her head and into her body by challenging her to cultivate strength, balance, and stillness. Jess continues to learn, and love, that yoga is many different things to many different people. There is no “right and wrong” in yoga. There are safe and healthy practices that should be respected, but the sky’s the limit. Jess has led yoga retreats in Nicaragua and Western Maryland and is thrilled to co-lead one at the Indian Springs Resort & Spa this summer with Julie.

What’s included

  2. Transportation to and from the airport (we will try to coordinate flights and share rental cars as much as possible)
  3. Most meals (There is a full kitchen available for prepping your own meals, or you may dine at the resort's restaurant or the numerous restaurants in town, all within walking distance.)

I attended a yoga retreat Julie co-led last fall entitled Arizona to Zen. It was an amazing getaway with a truly special group of people. We enjoyed yoga, meditation or other group activities twice a day, but we also had plenty of time on our own for the pool, spa, general relaxation and rejuvenation. Each day's itinerary was carefully thought out and very well organized. Julie did a great job of making the yoga classes appeal to all levels from beginner to advanced. The resort was wonderful, and I would absolutely trust Julie to pick an amazing spot once again. I found the entire experience to be extremely relaxing, rewarding and well worth the time away from work and home. I will certainly attend the next retreat!

I went on Julie's yoga retreat in Arizona and it was wonderful! Each day we practiced at different locations through out the resort which provided different perspectives in practice. We also explored different types of yoga flow as well as meditation. I loved experiencing new and different variations! Each class was made in such a way to be friendly to all levels of experience. The entire itinerary was thoroughly thought through and provided a well rounded rejuvenation! There was also plenty of time to relax with available pool, spa and activity services offered by the resort. A great combo for a getaway! And perhaps the best part was the people. What a lovely group to experience this retreat with! I would highly recommend any yoga retreat that Julie organizes! You will not be disappointed!
