We leave in the direction of Alajuela. Along the way we will see the Monument to the Farmer, the Monument to Juan Santamaría (a national hero who distinguished himself in the struggle for the country’s independence) and the famous park of los Mangos.

Arriving at the Doka coffee plantations – where we will enjoy an excellent typical breakfast – we will discover the magical world of coffee, considered the golden wheat of Costa Rica: everything you need to know about this product.

We continue in the direction of Poas Volcano, characterized by a cooler climate, typical of the mountainous forest of the Central Volcanic Cordillera. After a short walk of approximately 15 minutes, we will enjoy the spectacular view of the main crater, one of the largest in the world. Don’t forget your passport or a copy.

Then, we will reach La Paz waterfall gardens, where we’ll take a break for lunch and admire the flora and the fauna (hummingbirds, butterflies, snakes, frogs, felines) of this place.

After the day’s excursions, we will return to the hotel.

We will take you to the mirador Tiquicia restaurant - that offers a wide range of typical dishes - located in the Escazu hills, where you can enjoy the best night view of San Jose (a la carte dinner). 

After dinner, our transport service will take you to the hotel.

We’ll spend the day in Manuel Antonio National Park, home to a big variety of wildlife. With lush rainforest, coral reefs, and wonderful white sand beaches, Manuel Antonio National Park is a haven for biodiversity. This may be the smallest of Costa Rica’s national parks, but in terms of habitat and wildlife, it is truly unmatched. Lunch includes.

Transfer to Monteverde, in the cool mountain area Northwest of Costa Rica, renowned for the biodiversity of its cloudy rainforest

At sunset, led by our expert guide and with the illumination of a flashlight, we will take a walk in the Biological Reserve.

The night visit to the Monteverde Reserve is an excellent opportunity to get to know the biological diversity of the area from another perspective. During the night many species – nocturnal insects, birds and mammals – emerge and make a great display of unique activity.
