Today after breakfast, you will meet our driver and take a private transfer to Fortuna. Upon arrival at Fortuna, before checking in at your hotel, you will take your first chocolate tour.

This “hands on” activity, will give you the opportunity to learn interesting aspects of cocoa and chocolate, from its origin and history, participating in all the production process, from the harvesting of the fruit, drying and grinding of the seed, also the developing of the traditional drink of our ancestors, and of course enjoying a high quality organic chocolate. Enjoy this journey through the history, culture, traditions and the flavor. 

Spend the next 3 days there and enjoy optional activities.

After breakfast a representative will be waiting for you in the lobby of your hotel at 8am to go kayaking in lake Arenal, an incredible experience. This activity last 2 hours aproximatly. 

Then they will return to their hotel to have their lunch because later at 1:30pm they will go again this time to do cannopy with horseback riding.

After breakfast, continue rivate transfer from to the Central Pacific area of the country. Place famous for this Manuel Antonio National Park.

 Manuel Antonio National Park 

After an early breakfast you will head to Manuel Antonio National Park with your  local guide. The park consists of 680 hectares, with easy hiking trails throughout. One path leads to the private beaches exclusive to park goers, while the other leads to the Manuel Antonio waterfall. There are over 100 species of mammals and almost 20 distinct species of birds. Throughout the park you will see a number of white-faced capuchin monkeys, lizards, sloths and coatis. Your guide will provide binoculars, and all the equipment necessary to enjoy the day and observe the marvelous wildlife.

Rafting Savegre River

After the breakfast a representative will be waiting in the lobby to start the adventure. 

Experience III class rapids on the cleanest river in Costa Rica, a combination of calm paddling and some white-water thrills.

The 80-minute road trip to the rafting site offers picturesque views of African palm plantations, little towns, small rivers and jungle.

After safety instructions and time to practice you are ready to board the 6-passenger rafts.

Each raft has a guide who will provide instructions during journey, and for additional safety, a kayaker will accompany the group close by.

Savegre River offers II and III class rapids, its bends and turns offering adrenaline and excitement.

During your 2 ½ hour trip you will also have opportunities to admire exuberant flora and abundant fauna around you, floating down and even hopping off your rafting to swim in calmer waters.

Once back at base camp after a shorter 30-minute ride, you’ll be able to dry off, change into fresh clothes and enjoy a delicious meal.

After the breakfast private trnasfer to Sierpe,  where they will take a boat that will take them to their hotel in drake bay.

After breakfast leaving at 7am to Caño Island in boat.  

The water that surround Caño Island are full of treasures. Like the diving or snorkeling sites that you can visit. Hte fantastic blue water of the island is home to many fish that inhabit the tropical reef. 

Just a few meters from the white sand beach you will find creatures such as angel fist and occasionally small sharks.

The first snorkeling will be done, then you will rest on the Island, you will be provided with water and natural juice and then second snorkeling will be done. Later we will return for lunch at the Prirate Cove hotel.
