Partimos navegando hacia el Este, para tomar el brazo norte del canal Beagle hasta llegar a los primeros glaciares de la cordillera Darwin. Estos majestuosos ventisqueros forman parte del Parque Nacional Alberto de Agostini, uno de los últimos parques que componen la Ruta de los parques de la Patagonia y hacen parte del campo de hielo más austral del continente. La navegación es una verdadera experiencia ante la belleza intensa de paisajes prístinos que recorren los canales, observando en detalle las aves y su fauna marina, siendo común encontrarse con toninas, lobos, pingüinos y hasta ballenas. Si el clima lo permite, descenderemos en la playa de arenas blancas que se forma a los pies del glaciar Holanda para hacer una pequeña caminata y aproximarnos a esta asombrosa masa de hielo. Para terminar el recorrido, nos embarcamos para cruzar el Canal y finalizar con un asado con productos locales en la Estancia Kanasaka, única estancia ubicada en la lejana Isla Hoste.

We set off sailing eastwards, taking the northern arm of the Beagle Channel until we reach the first glaciers of the Darwin mountain range. These majestic glaciers are part of the Alberto de Agostini National Park, one of the last parks that make up the Patagonian Parks Route and are part of the southernmost ice field on the continent. Sailing is a true experience in the face of the intense beauty of pristine landscapes that run through the channels, observing in detail the birds and their marine fauna, being common to encounter porpoises, sea lions, penguins and even whales. If the weather permits, we will descend to the white sand beach that forms at the foot of the Holanda glacier to take a short walk and get closer to this amazing mass of ice. To finish the trip, we will embark to cross the Channel and finish with a barbecue with local products at Estancia Kanasaka, the only ranch located on the remote Hoste Island.
