  Nepal 10 days tour is a perfectly rounded tour that includes cultural/natural tour, mountain hiking, jungle safari, yoga and meditation and superb Himalayan scenery.

As part of Nepal Holiday 10 days, you will explore world heritage sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoymabhunath and Pashupatinath in Kathmandu and caves, lakes and waterfalls in Pokhara. A  hiking to hill station in Nagarkot and Sarangkot will offer you unparalleled views of Annapurna, Dhaulaigir, Everest, Langtang etc. 

Jungle safari in Chitwan National Park, a world heritage site, is perhaps the best part of Nepal tour package 10 days.  You will also take part in Yoga and Ayurveda retreat on Neal itinerary 10 days.

Day 1 - 10 Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival | Welcome to Nepal

Welcome to Kathmandu international airport. On your arrival at the airport, you will be relieved of any travel stress as our representative will welcome you, take care of your luggage and transfer you to hotel on a private car

After hotel check-in your tour manager will conduct a short program briefing over welcome drinks. 

Tips to Tailor-make your tour

Are you worried about jet lag? We suggest you have a proper rest in your hotel to help you adjust with climate and new environment. 

If you have extra bit of energy and enthusiasm you may spend strolling around nearby local market. Let us know in advance so we can arrange it accordingly. Just send us your preferences. 

Note: Dinner will be at your own expenses. 

Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing tour


Enjoy early morning mountain flight to close-up views of snowcapped Himalayan peaks including Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu, Mt. Everest, Manaslu and Kangchenjunga. 

After the flight, return to your hotel and have a warm breakfast

At 9.30am our guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a visit of Boudhanath where you will observe stupa, visit monastery, meet monks and learn Thangka painting. From there you head to Pashupatinath to witness cremation sites, explore temples and meet sadhus. You will also have a chance to learn Hinduism and its philosophy. The tour continues to Patan durbar square, known as city of arts, where you will explore museum, monastery and palaces. Finally, you will eat lunch enjoying beautiful scenery of Patan. 

After lunch tour continues to Soyambhunath (Monkey temple) from where you can get good view of Kathmandu Valley and observe cultural harmony of Hindus and Buddhists. Afterwards you go to Kathmandu Durbar Square where you will visit Freak Street to taste old style coffee started by Hippies. Then receive blessing of Kumari before visiting other temples of Kathmandu Durbar Square. We then finally visit Indrachowk where you can taste Nepal’s most popular lassi and then head to Asan, the vegetable and spice market. By evening we visit a Nepali restaurant to enjoy Nepalese dinner with traditional dance performances.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Nagarkot(2175m)

We will pick you up at 09.00am from Thamel. We will drive to Jarsingpauwa via Boudha and Sankhu which takes about one and a half hours. We will start our trek from Jarsingpauwa to Nagarkot, a distance of about 7km which can be covered in 3 hrs. The trail is dust free flanked by green hills and Kathmandu valley on either side. Along the trail you can observe the simple lifestyle of villagers. Great views of Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Shishapangma, Dorje Lakpa, Gauri Shankar and Everest (if you are lucky!) are visible from Kathmandu to Nagarkot trek.

Once in Nagarkot, we will partake of pre-ordered lunch. After lunch continue trek to Nagarkot view tower located at the height of about 2175m. Watch sunset view and then return to hotel where you will have dinner. 

Day 4: Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda retreat program

Wake up early to enjoy sunrise views and panorama of Himalayan peaks including Mt. Everest if the weather is clear. Afterwards, drive to Yoga retreat center for about 30 minutes.

On your arrival at Yoga center, you will have registration and short consultation with Yoga guru followed by traditional nasal cleansing.

At about 7.30am, your Yoga session starts with Mantra chanting (Bhakti Yoga), Warm-up exercise, Surya Namaskar (Spinal Asana), Pranayama (breathing exercise), Bandha and Shanti path (Peace mantra)

After Yoga session, you will have Yogic breakfast followed by relaxation.

At about 11.00am, you will have Therapy session and it includes

· One hour Ayurveda massage

· 30 minutes Ayurveda steam

At about 1 pm, you will have lunch followed by relaxation.

After lunch you will have philosophy class and meditation (simple technique)

At about 3.00pm, we will pick up you and drive to your hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 5: Kathmandu to Pokahra

Right after breakfast at 7.30, we will pick you up from your hotel and then begin a long drive to Pokhara. The drive through Prithivi Highway allows you to view beautiful hill villages, meandering rivers and snowcapped peaks. En route we will stop at a highway restaurant to have lunch. It takes over 6 hrs to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu. 

Before reaching Pokhara, we will visit Rupakot hill which is a vantage point to see three biggest lakes of Pokhara, namely Phewa, Begnas and Rupa Lakes along with superb panorama of Himalayan peaks. There is perhaps not a better to place to view majestic sunset then Rupakot hill. Rupakot hill hosts Rupakot resort where you can have dinner over sunset views. 

After dinner, continue drive to Pokhara for another one hour. You will check in at the hotel with welcome drinks. 

Optional route: Fly to Pokhara | USD120 per person | 25 minutes

If you want to avoid long road journey, you can choose 25 minutes scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Once in Pokhara you can either take a rest or go shopping or do adventure activities such as Paragliding, Bungee Jumping, Ultralight, Helicopter tour, boating, sightseeing, trekking etc. Kindly inform us in advance if you prefer to fly. 

Trisuli whitewater rafting | USD50 per person | Lunch included

Instead of directly driving from Kathmandu to Pokhara, you can choose drive from Kathmandu to Malekhu and raft halfway from Malekhu to Kurintar. At Kurintar we will catch a vehicle to Pokhara. 

Note: If you choose this option, you will not be visiting Rupakot hill due to time shortage. 

Day 6: Full day in Pokhara

Early morning you will drive to Sarangkot for sunrise and mountain views. Later you will go down to Phewa Lake for one-hour boating and then return to hotel to have warm breakfast. 

Why not try to have extra fun and excitement by participating in following activities

Optional Tour 1: Paragliding tour | USD120 per person | with Photo and Video | 30 min max

Paragliding is a popular adventure activity in Pokhara. You can do paragliding from Sarangkot to enjoy aerial view of Phewa Lake, Pokhara city and beautiful Himalayan ranges. The package include pick up and drop off services from and to your hotel. 

Optional Tour 2: Zip Line tour | USD84 per person | without Photo and video 

The Zipline in Pokhara is one of the fastest in the world with a speed of 120km+ per hour. The Zipline itself is 1.8km long and 600m vertical and provides amazing views of the mountains. 

Optional Tour 3: Ultralight | USD115 for 15 min | USD200 for 30 min

Ultralight is a small motorized 2-seat fixed-wing aircraft. It is the fastest and affordable way to experience travelling in air and enjoying great views of landscape of Pokhara Valley and snowcapped mountains from above. With ultralight you can make the nearest approach to the mountains and almost feel it with your hands. 

Optional Tour 4: Helicopter tour to Annapurna Base camp | USD 350 per person

Enjoy the comfort of helicopter to visit Annapurna Base Camp at an altitude of 4200m. It takes 20 minutes to reach the base camp from Pokhara airport, a journey of 5 days on foot. The base camp is the only place that offers a 360 degree view of Annapurna ranges. One can enjoy snowfall in the base camp during winter.

Late afternoon, about 3pm, we will pick you up from your hotel and visit following places: 

1. Davis Fall

2. Mahadev Cave

3. World Peace Pagoda

In the evening visit a local restaurant on the lakeside for dinner. Those who want to change their clothes can take a quick trip back to hotel and then join others in restaurant. Kindly consult with the tour guide. 

Trip note: Those who are not going for optional tour can utilize their time doing shopping, spa etc.

Day 7: Pokhara to Chitwan National Park

At 7.30m after breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and then begin a drive to Chitwan. Scenic highway drive to Chitwan takes about 5 hrs offering great views of green hills, villages, rural lifestyle, rivers and Himalayan peaks

Optional route: Fly to Chitwan | USD 117 Per person | 25 minutes

If you want to avoid long tiring 6hr + road journey, a domestic flight to Chitwan National park from Pokhara is available every day. Please let us know in advance so we can make timely arrangement for tickets.

We expect to reach Chitwan by around 1pm, just in time to have pre ordered warm lunch. After a short refreshment break, the tour guide will give a short briefing about the upcoming tour activities. The tour of Chitwan starts immediately thereafter.

Return to hotel after the tour. Dinner will be served in the hotel dining hall. 

Travel tips: Medication recommended for those who feel motion sickness while travelling on vehicle for long hours. 

Day 8: Chitwan National Park activities

After early morning breakfast your guide will pick you up from hotel and take you for following jungle activities.

1. Canoe ride

2. Jungle Walk

3. Visit to Elephant breeding center

4. Elephant bathing

In the afternoon drive back to hotel to have warm lunch. Take some rest before going back for Elephant safari inside Chitwan National Park and nearby community forest. Alternatively, you can opt for a jeep safari. Come back to hotel after the safari. 

Dinner will be ready by 7pm. Post dinner you will participate in Tharu Cultural dance program organized by local Tharu youth club.

Day 9: Chitwan to Kathmandu.

After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu which takes about 6 hrs covering 164km. Views of villages, rivers, hills and mountains will be visible along the highway. Once in Kathmandu, you will check-in hotel followed by rest and relaxation

Note: lunch and dinner at your own cost. 

Day 10: Departure

Have your breakfast at your own pace since there is no special program today. Feel free to go shopping or spa or anything you wish to do

Note 1: Note that we will pick you up from your hotel 3 hrs. before the flight departure time. Usually the checkout time in Nepali hotels is before noon (12.00pm).
