About this trip

About 1000 people attempt to summit Everest each year. Only 50% of those people actually make it. So forget that, why not take one of our breathtaking mountain flights and see Mount Everest in all its glory, without having to don a backpack?

The overwhelming feedback from everyone who took this flight last year was that it was "absolutely amazing". What a way to kickstart your time in Nepal. With flights taking about an hour and available every day (subject to the weather, of course), you could easily fit this unforgettable flight into your Impact itinerary, be it before or after Impact Week.

It's usually an early start to catch the mountains at their best before the clouds gather... all you need to do is remember to set the alarm.

(5:30am accommodation pick up - 6:30am flight)

One of our English speaking guides will meet you at your accommodation in Thamel and accompany you to the airport and get you checked in. Then just sit back and enjoy the views. And boy are those views magnificent!

The trip itself was great, brilliant guides and amazing things to see. The organising and communications from the old town outfitters was poor - we had three different versions of timings and itineraries! It would have also been better if we’d had more free time at the lake (as at least one itinerary suggested...) as all the steps and the post marathon body did need a bit more tlc than it got on this trip
An amazing experience. Everything was so well organised - the team really go out of their way to make sure that everyone has an unforgettable experience. A great mix of travel, meeting some amazing people, giving back and running in a stunning national park. The run is suitable for anyone - from people walking the 10k to people completing their 50th Marathon! If you are thinking of booking Nepal 2020 then do it - you won't regret it!
An absolutely incredible week, and a totally unique experience. I’d echo the other reviews – Impact week’s are not your typical tourist trip: we got hands on helping rebuild a mountain road, had our eye’s opened with some challenging but inspiring charity visits, stayed in a fantastic location with some of the most stunning views, and best of all shared it all with some amazing people. I’d highly recommend Impact trips for anyone travelling solo, they’re a great way to meet a real mix of people from all over the world who are brought so closely together by the experiences over the week.
An amazing community of runners and such a memorable week with unforgettable camping views, charity work, and stunning trail runs.
What a trip!!! It covered every emotion. The team at Impact we’re fantastic, looked after us. Ensured we had time to sight see. They arranged a guide to take us around Kathmandu, showing us everything from Monkey Temple to the Palace of the late King.. Not forgetting why I was there we visited some of the projects that Impact are helping which was very eye opening. Nearly had me in tears! Made me what to help even more!! The people that were on this trip were from all over the world and made a fantastic collective group, I laughed every day until tears were rolling down my cheers!! The Impact team, as well as the locals, looked after us so well. Many of us took a while to get back to normal life on return to the day job!! The local food, although basic, was lovely. Very taste, filling and plentiful. (Needed to be after the work we did, helping to clear the storm ditches!! lol ) I cant wait until I can arrange to go on another Impact trip, work permitting!!
