About this trip

Any visit to this stunning and largely untouched location will feature fantastic mountain scenery, old monasteries, abundant flora and fauna, and lively Buddhist culture. Each region of Bhutan has its own historical, geographical, cultural, and religious significance.

Between Paro and Thimphu, a fourteen-day journey known as the Druk Path traverses a breathtaking natural area. The breathtaking Tiger's Nest Monastery, perched high on a cliffside in the upper Paro valley, is the first stop on our journey. Then we set off on our trek, taking us through rhododendron forests and glacial lakes while framed by snow-capped mountains and sweeping valleys. You will learn more about Bhutan's history along the trip by passing through unspoiled villages, historic Lhakhang, and dzongs.

I flew back to Katmandu! The trip of 10 houwers by your bus was a disaster! Although having a ticket and seat number there was NO seat for me….. I didn’t even appear on the list! Could drive to Pokhara sitting wit 5 others next to the driver….. Although I didn’t walk that day, my step counter on my phone registered 18000 steps LOL

One of the best trip of my life. I have spent great moments with my guide Krishna. We really enjoyed every step of the Annapurna Circuit. I recommend the trip to anyone who wants a truly natural experience in the Himalaya.

We planned this trip in collaboration with Pradip for a year. He made sure all the details we required were in order. We had no worries when we arrived in Nepal with hotels or taxis; everything was arranged and easy. The trek itself was a bucket-list experience, living up to the hype due to the level of organisation and lack of stress for us. The weather caused extreme delays out of Kathmandu to Lukla airport however Pradip worked tirelessly to get us on a helicopter the next day, when others were stranded for up to 5 days. The guide Nima Dorji Sherpa and porter Tendi Sherpa were the most amazing team. We had no worries and made it through the trek with their support and help. Pradip and Dorji worked hard to plan our elopement at 5530m, which was not easy but we pulled off! Pradip was very quick to respond and make changes to plans as needed, he was very easy to contact. He met with us several times in person to provide us information and local Nepalese experiences too. We would 100% recommend this trekking company!

This trip was good overall and Pradip was very helpful. As I travelled solo during monsoon season, I would take flights option next time as travel times were almost double than estimated with poor road conditions, road construction, and landslides, so wasted whole days and itinerary was rushed at times. One bus driver I had was very dangerous, making high risk overtaking moves. Bus rides were 9, 7½,10 and 12 hours and not always on expected tourist buses when rides were cancelled so had to use local buses instead of tourist buses. It was certainly an experience though. Part of Nepali life for most locals unfortunately. Accommodation was basic but good enough. Poor hotel in Pokhara, Kuti Hotel, but I alerted Pradip of the low standard so now they will not use them anymore, despite the hotel's high reputation in the industry. Just read the poor reviews in Google Maps! I suggest taking a Nepal SIM with phone number to keep in contact on Whatsapp with Pradip, the guides in each city, and to use the Pathao app, their version of Uber. The safari outings and dance performance in Chitwan were the highlights of my trip. I'd probably give Lumbini a miss as the travel time vs poor condition of the road infrastructure to the temples was disappointing. Even the tuk tuk could not get through the mud roads in some parts. All under construction as they build the temples first, not the roads to the temples. My guide in Lumbini was excellent if you do choose to see the birthplace of Buddha. Nepal is still a developing country so be prepared as such but most people were very friendly and helpful. I came to Nepal to attend a wedding so this solo trip with Peregrine worked out timing-wise so I saw some of the country, not just Kathmandu. But if you have the choice of timing, give monsoon season a miss. Namaskar🙏

Due to bad weather we had to get a helicopter from Lukka to Kathmandu. It turned out to be a great trip down with some stunning views along the way.

The tour of Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan was fantastic. We got to experience the culture and history of Kathmandu, the natural beauty of Pokhara, and the wildlife of Chitwan. The tour guides were knowledgeable, and the accommodations were great.
