Today we spend our day traveling and crossing the border into Canada while enjoying many fun activities on board. 

By early evening we arrive in NIAGARA FALLS. Welcome to the “Honeymoon Capital

of the Nation”!  We visit the falls at night upon arrival before checking into our conveniently located Howard Johnson Hotel.

Following breakfast on our own, we begin our morning with a visit to the Skylon Tour where we make the 663-foot trip to the top for a magnificent view of the 

Falls.  After crossing back into the United States, we travel through upstate New York making our way to the beautiful state of VERMONT. 

Our overnight stay is at the Best Western New Englander in Bennington, located at the foothills of the “Green Mountains”.

Today we begin with a stop at Hogback Mountain...home of the hundred mile view! 

Here we have time to shop before continuing on. Get ready for the most scenic highway in the world, the fantastic KANCAMAGUS HIGHWAY, which brings us to NORTH CONWAY and MT. CRANMORE. 

No better way to top off the day than an included LOBSTER dinner at Old Port Tavern in Maine.  After dinner, we check in to the beautiful Holiday Inn for our evening stay.

This morning we visit the PORTLAND LIGHTHOUSE, the oldest operating lighthouse in the country, before continuing on down the rugged coastline of Maine. 

Entering Massachusetts we stop in SALEM, known as the “Witch City”, for a tour of the “House of Seven Gables”. 

Then a short drive brings us to BOSTON for a delightful two-night stay at the Courtyard Marriot.

This morning a local guide joins us for a tour of Boston and its historic landmarks. OLD NORTH CHURCH, PAUL REVERE HOUSE, the ship where the BOSTON TEA PARTY took place, FREEDOM TRAIL, and the BOSTON MASSACRE SITE. 

Next we visit the famous QUINCY’S MARKET. The remainder of the day will be spent at the JFK LIBRARY where we experience the life and legacy of JFK, located along the shores of the Boston Harbor.

Today we travel to Plymouth, where we visit PLYMOUTH ROCK the Mayflower and PLYMOUTH PLANTATION.  We enjoy a boxed lunch upon departure.

Following a short drive to Rhode Island, we visit the elegant 70 room VANDERBILT MANSION, “The Breakers”. More spectacular scenery awaits as we motorcoach along the beautiful coastline of Connecticut to our hotel in Stratford. 

Tonight we enjoy a Wine and Pizza Party, compliments of LaVerne’s Travel, Inc.

We begin our day with a church service at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, a place where more than five million visitors come to each year. St. Patrick’s Cathedral is rich in history, having held John F. Kennedy’s memorial service. 

Then we meet our local guide and visit NYC landmarks, including Grand Central Station, the 911 reflecting pools and more!  We finish our afternoon in New York City with a narrated harbor cruise showcasing the New York City skyline from the water...giving us an up-close look at the Statue of Liberty.

This morning a short drive brings us to the mountainous area of Delaware Gap. Here we visit the American Candle Company. 

Then, more spectacular scenery awaits as we travel through the mountain ranges of Pennsylvania, stopping in Lewisburg for an included lunch at Bonanza. 

Our overnight stay is in Youngstown, Ohio at the Hampton Inn.

Following breakfast we depart for a relaxing travel day through the beautiful states of Indiana and Illinois. 

Tonight our stay is in Bettendorf, Iowa at the Isle of Capri Casino Hotel where we have the opportunity to enjoy some fun gaming if you wish. “GOOD LUCK”.

Today it’s homeward bound, always to remember our newly made friends, breathtaking beauty and lasting memories of NEW ENGLAND, NIAGARA FALLS and sights of NEW YORK CITY.
