Join Emily Meersand and Jenny Clise in the beautiful south coast of Sri Lanka to indulge in 7 nights of yoga, surf, and so much adventure! The new moon will be gracing us with her presence which makes it a perfect time to retreat, re-energize and set new intentions. And sometimes all we need is a little adventure from the winter cold (or polar vortex) to get inspired!
Spend the week gazing at coconut trees dancing to the sounds of the ocean, swimming and/or surfing the emerald waters of Hiriketiya Bay, practicing yoga with Emily and Jenny, eating some of the freshest meals, searching for elephants in the wild on our safari, exploring heritage sites and vibrating from the sounds of a gong bath.

JENNY CLISE
Jenny is a New York based yoga teacher and has been teaching since 2012 in Boulder, San Francisco, and New York. Before transitioning to yoga, dance was her passion. Yoga and dance have always been meditative for her, but with yoga she found a new relationship with the body that was more mindful and healing.
What to expect from Jenny’s classes?
In her classes she will take you through mindful flows and workshop postures. She focuses heavily on foundation and alignment to safely prepare you for more challenging postures later on. Jenny encourages you to turn inwards, draw intentionality into your practice and recognize your strength both physically and mentally in each moment.
EMILY MEERSAND
Emily Meersand is a San Francisco-based yoga instructor whose life has been transformed and elevated in every way through the practice and teachings of yoga.
Emily's yoga practice and teaching style is derived from yoga trainings and classes all over the world. She is E-RYT 200 through the Yoga Alliance, has assisted and lead multiple teacher trainings in San Francisco, has studied yoga in Ubud, Bali, and has taught retreats at tropical locations all over the world, including Saladita, Mexico and Playa Maderas, Nicaragua. She has completed the following certifications: Power Yoga Teacher Training (200 Hours), Janet Stone Sadhana Immersion (50 Hours), Restorative & Yin Energetics Training (40 Hours), Sculpt Teacher Training (50 Hours), Intermediate Power Vinyasa Teacher Training, BASI Pilates Certification, Aromatherapy & Essential Oil Studies. Emily can't wait to share her love of yoga, travel, and the beach with you in Sri Lanka!

She is passionate about sharing her love of a well-rounded and balanced yoga practice through her teachings of both powerful, sweaty vinyasa classes and grounding, soothing restorative and yin classes. We’ll be based at Jasper House, a few seconds away from one of the island’s most beautiful beaches with emerald waters - Hiriketiya Bay! Once a little secret gem is now popular among surfers and backpackers worldwide. The horseshoe shape of the bay makes it perfect swimming and surfing conditions year round! Hiriketiya Bay is ideal for intermediate to pro surfers. Nearby beaches are also available for beginners.
A $500 USD Non Refundable deposit will secure your spot on the retreat or you may choose to pay in full. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the retreat start date. Payment plans are available, remaining balance can be split into monthly payments - please refer to FAQ for more information. A confirmation email will be sent within 48 hours of your booking.
Please do not book your flight until you have received a confirmation to do so. You will be provided with instructions on when to arrive/depart along with travel agent details to assist you with your flight booking (or you may book your flight on your own).

1. Who can attend this retreat?
Our retreats are for everyone! It doesn't matter what your age, gender, race, weight, height, flexibility and level of experience is - the practice of yoga is for every single being. New to yoga? We all have to start somewhere and retreats are the perfect space to start and/or grow your practice. Don't worry about how advanced others may be and remember this journey is yours, take all the time and be patient with yourself. If you're new, let us know so we can make sure our teachers are prepped to assist you.
2. I've never travelled before and I don't have anyone to go with. Can I come alone?
Yes!! Before you go, we are here to guide you and get you prepared as much as possible for this retreat and travel experience. With us, you're never alone! We set up a group chat to communicate with one week prior to the retreat to check in and update each other as you start your travel from where ever you may be. We'll pair you up with a roommate, who will most likely end up being a lifelong friend. You may come alone, but you'll end up leaving with a community of like minded people who will forever be connected through this experience.
3. What do I need to pack?
30 days before your retreat, we'll send you a guide of what to pack and bring.
4. What type of travel insurance do I need and why is it mandatory?
Your insurance will need to cover emergency medical and trip cancellation/interruption. This is to protect you in case of any unforeseen circumstances either before or on your retreat.
5. Do you offer monthly payment plans?
Yes! Once you've paid the deposit amount, the remainder of your balance can be split and paid by the remaining months left until the full balance is due.
