Shreveport, Natchitoches, Baton Rouge, and more
We will depart from the Hilton Shreveport, located at 104 Market St
Shreveport, LA 71101 at 8:30AM.

We make our way way from Shreveport, via Natchitoches, (Nack-a-tish). This original French colony in Louisiana, is the oldest settlement in the Louisiana Purchase. Established in 1714, Natchitoches, retains its European flavor through its architecture, heritage and lifestyle. Plus, it's the town where Steele Magnolias was filmed! You can walk the streets on a self guided tour (which we provide) and see the filming locations of this incredible movie. We then head to Baton Rouge for a quick orientation and a chance to go to the State Capital observation deck, located on the 27th floor of this centerpiece building. It overlooks the city of Baton Rouge at a height of 350 feet, and the views of the gardens are spectacular.

After arriving into NOLA, we will check into our hotel and enjoy an introductory walking tour of the French Quarter...drinks anyone?

New Orleans
We start the day with an incredible city tour lead by one of the premier tour guides in New Orleans. We explore the architecture, history and lore of this famous city from a locals point of view. Learn about Mardi Gras history at Mardi Gras World, a museum where the massive floats are made and the party goes year round. We finish our day with a tour of the Garden District, filled with historic mansions and even celebrity homes!

Tonight we will gather informally to have a drink, eat some alligator or listen to jazz at a small intimate club. This evening is yours to enjoy!

New Orleans & Departures
We start the morning with a visit to the Warehouse District (or Arts District), which is quickly becoming the "happening spot" in NOLA. It's where old New Orleans meet new, filled with galleries, new hotels and restaurants. We will visit the WWII museum and get an orientation so you will understand how to explain this incredible museum to your guests. Plan on leaving enough time for lunch! We recommend booking flights after 3PM today. Au revoir!
