Welcome to the New Orleans Foodie Tour 2023!

We have a weekend in New Orleans surrounded by Food and Fun! We have secured rooms at Omni Royal which is right in the mix of the activities on bourbon street! We will meet up at the bar and head out onto the night with a Self Guided Oyster Crawl thru the city with drinks and laughter along the way! I have eaten at many of the spots and will take you to the original spot for CharBroiled Oysters!

On Saturday you can have early breakfast on your own (not everyone is an early bird) or as a group, we will have a few options for all to go and meet up! I even found a few Vegan and plant-based locations in the city! From Ruby Slippers to Jimmy J's Cafe to Commerce Restaurant to Two Chicks Cafe (Great Coffee and Eggs Benedict). Don't fill up too much, as we have much more eating to go! 

We will meet up for our New Orleans Original Flavors Food Tour of the French Quarter Bon Appetit at 12 pm, so come hungry. Get a taste of New Orleans' food, history, architecture, and culture on this culinary walking tour. Follow your local guide to historic buildings, local hotels, and five tasting locations in the historic French Quarter.  Along the way, hear anecdotes and legends about Crescent City's gastronomic culture. Bring walking shoes and your appetite; all tastings are included and provide more than enough food to make up a hearty lunch. This is an amazing tour with amazing drinks and food! 

Afterwards, we will have a stroll thru the Quarter some more and walk off some of the food and drinks we just consumed! Maybe stroll to get some Beignets from a small cafe in the park or visit Marie Laveau's House Of Voodoo, or hit The Sazerac House to obtain some signature drink mixes and history!  Late in the evening, we will have a meal (TBD) to fuel our way thru the night! This will give you guys time in between to do other tours, photo shoots, and more! Then it's up to you to party all night or catch some ZZZs! I know I have to hit Willie's Chicken Shack for a late-night chicken snack and hot sauce run! There are plenty of pubs, bars, and clubs to visit! 

Sunday, we will have a legit yummy Brunch at an undisclosed place (haven't selected yet!) before heading to our New Orleans Hands-On Cooking Class & Meal for Sunday Dinner that we will cook! Enrich your visit to New Orleans with a half-day cooking class. Learn to prepare authentic Louisiana cuisine with a professional chef and a small group of like-minded foodies. After completing your lesson, sit down to enjoy the meal and receive a complimentary wine and local beer, a souvenir apron, and a collection of recipes included in the cost of the course.  We will create Louisiana Meat Pie, Veal Des Allemands, Creole Ratatouille, and Chocolate Pecan Pie.
