Join Sarah Beston and Josie Kramer for a New Year Yoga and Mindfulness retreat in mystical Joshua Tree.
Through three days of yoga classes and meditation, and two nights of stargazing with a special moonlit Saturday night Sound Bath, the Body Wisdom + Body Love Soul Purpose retreat weekend invites participants to release, rejuvenate, and set new intentions for 2020. Together we will use the practices of yoga, meditation, mindfulness, breath, and chakra work for intuitive discovery with the awe-inspiring desert landscape at Casa Mara, Joshua Tree as our backdrop.
There will be plenty of time between sessions to relax and connect with yourself, each other, and the land. Explore local Joshua Tree, book a massage, take a hike, or take a nap. Our meals together will be simple, fresh, vegetarian fare.
We hope you can join us for this restorative and grounding weekend of movement, meditation, intention-setting, and community in the desert. All levels welcome!

Sarah Beston is a yoga and meditation teacher, spiritual guide, writer, and is the founder of {Body Wisdom}, an organization that helps women live more authentic and embodied lives through online and in-person retreats. In her classes, Sarah promotes a welcoming and safe environment that realigns her students with the natural gifts already within them—vitality, strength, joy, and intuitive intelligence. Sarah holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Spirituality and Mind Body Practice from Columbia University. She is an instructor at Columbia Business School’s Venture for All program, where she teaches courses on spiritual entrepreneurship and venture creation.
Josie Kramer is a yoga and meditation teacher, holistic health coach, transpersonal life coach, and massage therapist. She’s happy and inspired to offer you the healing practices that have had such a profound impact on her own journey towards health and wholeness. Josie did her initial 200 hour yoga teacher training at Center for Yoga and an additional 1,000 hour yoga teacher training at Naropa University. She graduated from Naropa with a B.A. in Traditional Eastern Arts and from Sofia University with her M.A. in Transpersonal Psychology. Josie is also a graduate of The Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing and a graduate of The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She’s the co-founder of Body Love Soul Purpose, a women’s empowerment organization. Drawing on 17 years of experience Josie currently practices and teaches in Los Angeles as well as leads retreats worldwide.
