Today we will spend some time viewing Accra’s most iconic landmarks including: 

• Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum • Black Star Square • James Town • Mokola market • The Arts Center.  We will return to freshen up at the hotel before heading to the biggest cultural and music festival in the city (Afrochella)

You are free to pub crawl all night.   

Today, we journey out of the capital to the Eastern region of Ghana.

Enjoy the beautiful twin Boti waterfalls flowing from the Akuapem mountains. Prepare your sneakers to walk and climb through the mountains and caves to see the Umbrella Rock and Wonderful Palm Tree. 

On our way back to Accra we will check out the century long Aburi gardens. 

Tonight lets get lost in Accra's night life.

We want you to travel, experience Ghana's culture, establish relationships, and create memories, but we also want you to have a stake in the places you visit. 

Today, the team will have a workshop that dives into accessing Ghana's business and investment opportunities and also address repatriating back to the motherland. This will be followed by a networking opportunity.

The night is ours to party.

Today, we'll set foot in the krobo land Ada.  We'll pay homage at the ancestral wall at Prampram and also interact with some African American returnees.

 We'll catch a local boat cruise to the estuary where the volta river meets the Atlantic Ocean.   The volta river is the largest man made lake in the world by surface area.   After, we will make a stop at the beach camp for relaxation and swimming over some drinks.
We will enjoy dinner at the beautiful Aqua Safari as we connect with each other even more.

We will join the count down to 2020 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

New Year in Ghana is exciting, We will spend the early hours of the new year at the beach sending a message to our fore fathers who were carried across the ocean.

We will have a  local food cook and eat party before heading to the beach.

 Later in the night we will attend the Annual All  White Party in the heart of the City.

Today, we journey to the central region to visit the Cape Coast slave castle where it all began.   We will experience the horror of the dungeons where  slaves were kept to await the ships.  After, we will pass through the "door of no return"  where slaves exited and left their homeland. Today, the "door of no return" has been commemorated as the "door of return" to await the descendants of those who were forcefully taken. 

We will also visit the Kakum National Park.  Kakum is a preserved rain forest with a canopy walkway that is suspended 30 meters above the ground on tree tops. 

The team will spend some time at the One Africa Resort before departing to Accra.

Kumasi is located in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Enjoy a day learning of the great works of Osei Tutu I, Okofomo Anokye, and the Ashanti Empire as it will serve as an introduction to Kumasi.
