Your expert local guide will meet you and the group for an introductory meeting. After this meeting, your guide will take you into the city! It is time to explore the Big Apple! Your local expert guide will take you to the Chelsea Market, where you can explore for an hour. After the market, you will walk a portion of the High Line Trail - an old overground metro line turned into a city park - giving you stunning views of all the high-rises. See the Vessel, an architectural masterpiece. After exploring this part of the city, we will use public transportation and get on the included ferry and tour to see the Statue of Liberty. We will continue our journey back in Manhattan and have a moment of reflection at the 9/11 memorial. Rise above the city and see the high-rises from above at the One World Observatory; if there is time to include this optional activity. Find some free time to explore the Oculus shopping mall and SoHo. Continue your New York journey to Wall Street to see the center of the World Finance and learn about its Dutch connection. After exploring this area, your guide will take you out for a night in town, and see the Big Apple come to life at night on Times Square and Broadway! It is now time to check into your overnight stay to refresh your energy for what more there is to come!

Get ready for a full day of sightseeing in New York City, with a chance to not only experience it on foot but also by subway, a true New York experience in itself! But first, of course: food! We’ll start out our day right with a breakfast food tour in the trendy DUMBO neighborhood, where industrial warehouses have been transformed into boutique shops, restaurants, and cafes. After lunch, we will take the train to Coney Island for a ride on nostalgic, charming, and vibrant attractions. As visitors step onto the iconic boardwalk, they're greeted by the lively sights and sounds of this historic amusement destination. A must-visit spot is the legendary Luna Park, where thrilling rides and classic carnival games beckon thrill-seekers of all ages. For a taste of Coney Island's rich history, a visit to the Coney Island Museum offers fascinating insights into the area's colorful past, featuring vintage memorabilia and exhibits celebrating its heyday. Indulging in a world-famous Nathan's hot dog is a quintessential Coney Island experience, enjoyed while taking in the panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean from the boardwalk.

On our final day in the city, we will make our way to the Lower East Side, Chinatown and Little Italy before lunch. Enjoy a food tasting tour, this time in New York City’s Lower East Side. Here, we’ll stop at stores run by generations of immigrants who have kept their culinary traditions alive in this unique neighborhood. Enjoy everything from knishes and pickles to bialys and babka! The we’ll go onwards to visit the great communities of Chinatown and Little Italy for more tastings along the way. After lunch, we will visit Central Park and walk through this immensely large urban park. After our day program ends, the group can enjoy free time at Columbus Circle and Central Park. Perhaps a visit at the famous American Museum of Natural History, MoMa or Guggenheim Museum? After we regroup, the guide will bring you to your next destination or to your airport transfer, which will bring your New York City exploration to an end!
