About your trip

FOR THE 3RD YEAR IN A ROW- We're taking our "Week of Rivers" to New Zealand again- yep, it's just THAT GOOD!

New Zealand is a world class packraft destination- think as if Alaska & Hawaii had a baby- epic rivers, accessible hiking, warmer water, stunning coastline & ocean adventure potential are abound. New Zealand has it all: the mountain vistas, rugged wilderness, diverse river running combined with ocean exploration are unparalleled. (Exactly why Jule spends her winters down here- for Alaskan's it's a "home away from home," with endless adventure opportunities WITHOUT PREDATORS (bye bye bears, moose, wolves- not here!) & warmer temperatures.

Jule & Huw know not just WHERE to go, but are passionate instructors & paddle skill coaches- we love helping people "level up" their paddling skills wherever they're at. Expect personalized instruction & feedback throughout the week- there's a 100% chance you'll leave the trip feeling stronger & more confident on the water.

More than a guided trip, it's a "hybrid tour" - experience the South Island's best packrafting runs & refine your river skills while exploring a new river each day. A mix of hike-in approaches & road runs: HIKE, PADDLE, EXPLORE & HAVE FUN w/ Jule Harle & Huw Miles of Packrafting Queenstown.

YOUR GUIDES: Huw Miles & Jule Harle have been referred to as "Packrafting's Most Wanted." 😜 Haha, as Huw is a well known paddler in NZ, operates Packrafting Queenstown AND is the recipient of the International Packraft Film Festival's "Judges Choice" Award for his 2025 submission. Check out his YouTube channel- his adventure stories are fun, creative & inspiring.

And Jule...well- she's been in the river game since 2007 & can't get enough of it.
