THIS TRIP IS SOLD OUT
Join your neighbors for an evening trip to one of the Southeast's premier holiday festivals, Night of A Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens.
Brookgreen Gardens, America’s first sculpture garden consisting of four former colonial rice plantations, is located just 18 miles south of Myrtle Beach. It is the floral jewel of South Carolina’s coastal community. Named by Southeast Tourism Society as a Top 20 Event, Night of a Thousand Candles offers nights of holiday magic when visitors stroll through sculpture gardens lit by thousands of luminaries and twinkling lights while enjoying an array of musical performances.
The Gardens come to life amid the soft glow of more than 5,500 hand-lit candles and countless sparkling lights. Crowd favorites include the beautiful Cranberry Pool, the Live Oak Allee dripping with thousands of lights and the Model Train Exhibit. Visitors also love the Fountain of the Muses and the Majestic Pegasus all dressed out for this beloved annual event. Walk the paths with a warm cup of cider, hear the sounds of hand bells ringing, carolers singing, and celebrate the season with the nightly lighting of the 80-foot-tall Holiday Fir tree.
This is a rain or shine event. In the rare case of a severe winter storm, the trip will be rescheduled to an alternate date during the 2022 season. If a passenger cannot join the alternate trip date, a trip refund will be issued for the 2023 season.
Please follow CDC current guidelines and stay up to date on vaccines to protect yourself from variants during travel and exposure to crowds.
