After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, you will be picked up and head to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for a domestic flight to Malindi (approximately 1 hour flight).

A small coastal town with sandy beaches and coral gardens, Watamu beach is one of the most popular destinations in Kenya. You will be picked up from Malindi Airport and transferred to your luxury accommodation in Watamu (a 30 min drive.)

You can have a relaxing afternoon at your own leisure exploring the hotel’s facilities.

Rest and relax.

Sundowner dhow ride at Mida Creek. Cruise along the Indian Ocean with new and old friends as you continue to know each other.

Coastal History
After breakfast at your luxury hotel in Malindi, you will head to the Gedi ruins, combing through the Malindi historical circuit.

Have lunch in Malindi (Lunch at your own expense.)

After lunch you will be guided to the Mambrui sand dunes and finally to the Hells Kitchen for a tour and sunset. Head to Marafa (Hell’s Kitchen). One of the most underrated sites on the Kenyan coast, named by the natives ‘Nyari’, ‘The place broken by itself’, the geological formation was caused by erosion of the sandstone escarpment, revealing a unique set of vibrantly coloured rock layers, from white to pinks, oranges and deep crimsons.

Checkout before your pick up at 0600hrs for an early morning game drive at Maasai Mara. Enjoy the optional Maasai Mara’s Hot Air Balloon with the sunrise as you watch the animals from above.

You will then be transported to a location where you can enjoy a bush breakfast.

On your way to the airstrip, you will visit the Maasai Cultural Village to be immersed in the culture of the Maasai people.

Arrive in Nairobi where you will be transferred to your luxury hotel.

Visit the Giraffe Centre. You will get extremely up close and personal as you offer them food and hopefully get a kiss.

Visit David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT) Elephant Nursery in Nairobi National Park provides a safe haven to orphaned baby elephants rescued by the DSWT.

Lunch at your own expense.

Visit the Nairobi National Museum.

Continue over to the Maasai Market, an open-air market where you can find paintings, clothes, jewelry and wood-carvings, along with fabrics, many hand-made in Kenya by local artisans.
